I put in the orange as i thought it needed it - The red looked unbalanced . you can send it back and i will refund it Minus postage . You can send it back address is po box 3004 Putney nsw 2112 Australia
I don't think I should have to pay postage to send back something that was made wrong by you. You clearly stated that you would make it without the pink and orange and you included not only orange, but pink as well. If you were worried about the color balance a heads up would have been appreciated and we could have gone from there. If you don't plan on replacing it with what I ordered, I expect a total refund of the original price, plus postage to return it to you.
Oh, what a great business woman she is! "I understood your clearly stated preferences, I just disagreed so I made it however the fuck I wanted." Awesome.
Love your response, it's exactly what I would have said.
Wow! That sucks. I can't believe she didn't run it past you especially after you specifically requested not having those colors. I hope she refunds you appropriately.
Are there any other Etsy sellers who make them? I'd send it back ( on her dime) and buy it from someone else since she's clearly bitter towards making any change.
That's amazing. As a sales person, it is her job to make it the way you want. Not the way she thinks looks best. Seriously, if she doesn't like your color selections, but agreed to do them anyway, then she needs to do it. I would be leaving her some serious feedback once you get this mess sorted out. Is it possible for your to fix it without dealing with her or is it a lost cause?
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
I'm just blown away there was no sorry, no offer to fix it. Screw her, I'm going to take it apart now and figure out how to DIY it before I send it back.
Oh I'm getting my money back or she's sending me the right mobile. I'm not trying to fix it myself. I think I could DIY, after I take a close look at hers.
she sucks! I would also leave negative feed back if she doesn't pay for the postage as well. Don't know if you can leave feedback on etsy or not. It's been so long since I've been on it.
Wow. Just wow. How does she even have customers if that's how she treats them? She needs to pay the postage and either make you a new one the way YOU want it, or fully refund you.
"I thought it looked better this way." Then you should have said something before you mailed it from Australia, ffs. Postage is probably ridiculous to/from Australia. If she's not going to give your money back, Etsy sometimes intervenes in situations like this. You could try that route.
Oh I'm getting in touch with Etsy or Paypal or something...and leaving feedback. Oh and it's going back to Australia via carrier pigeon or whatever else is really really slow.
i see what she's saying, that there could be too much red, but she should've sent you an email stating something like, "instead of replacing all the pink and orange with red, what do you think about using equal number pieces of blue, green, yellow, red, etc. (only the colors you want) for better balance?" you could've agreed on something, and that would've saved a whole lot of headache. now she's either just covering her f-up or pulling the "but i'm the artiste!" card. weird-o.

Exactly. And honestly, had she explained it would look better, I might have been open to the orange. Not the pink, but maybe the orange. But now, OH HELL NO.
