I will have the biggest gap !!

My daughter is 21 she will almost be 22

But my step kids will be 8 and 9 !!

Mine will be 5, 3 (one month away from 4), and 2.5. My other three are very close in age so we wanted to wait a bit for this one. I think 2.5 years will be a great gap.

My DD will be 20 months next week. She will be around 27 1/2 months when this baby arrives!

DS 1= 10yr (will be almost 11 when this one is born)
DD 4yr (will be 5)
DS 2 = 3yr (will be 4)

There was a gap between 1 & 2 was because I was young when I had 1 & didn't marry til he was 3. DD & DS2 are exactly 18mo apart. We were shocked when I got pregnant with #3 and then he came 5.5wk early. This baby was not planned either. Hubby was done. There will be an 11 year gap from oldest to youngest & 4yr gap to the closest sibling.

wish they were closer in age but can't change that.

Mine will be 20 months apart, which we were hoping for. I am surprised it happened so soon because I had trouble getting pregnant with DD. I really wanted them close in age so they will hopefully have the same interests and will be good friends.

DD will be 16 months when this one comes. We wanted them close in age, and actually started trying when there would've only been a 14 month difference! I haven't decided if i'm crazy yet lol

I wanted my children separated by a couple of years: two years between first and second and three years between second and third. As it currently stands, DS will be 27 months when LO2 should arrive.

Ours will be 2 years and 8 months apart. Looking back I wish we were having our second sooner, but at the time we would have had to start the baby making, there was no way I was ready. Now I think DD would make a great big sister at 2. They will be 3 school grades apart which I wish was 2, but oh well, what can you do.

My first 2 are 3 years and 10 months apart. When the new baby is born, my kids will be just over 6 and 2.5. I really liked the larger age gap, I think this is going to be more difficult.

Don't worry too much about the age gap with regards to being close. I have a sister who is 13 months younger, and a brother who is seven years younger. My sister and I are close, but my brother and I are even closer (mostly because of similar personalities. And we served in the same military unit together for several years). My oldest (17) is really heavily invested in being a big brother, and he makes an effort to spend time with them. Since my daughter is 11, he takes her to the mall, the fair, fireworks, all that sort of stuff. And the two year old...well, he takes him to the zoo, the park, on walks...even though people give him dirty looks thinking he's a teenaged parent.

DS will be 23 months when this one arrives.
As for how to deal, I think you just adjust, just like you had to with #1, and any consecutive children. Always an adjustment period.

DD1 - 6 years next week

My first two were 15 months apart, and our son was born right after our first daughter turned 5. This baby will be born when DS is 18 months old, and when our DDs are 5 and 6. I love the age differences we have, but am anxious about a 4th baby! We have always wanted a large family, it's just kind of scary to actually have one!!

My DS is 14 months, he'll be 22 months when this baby is born. I wanted them closer together, and right about 2 years is the space between me and my sister, and it worked out great.

Mine will be 2 years 9 months apart. We planned for 2 years, but had a loss in February of what was supposed to be an October due date. Can't believe that I'd be having a baby that week if it had worked out.

My dd bday Is June 7 2010 my ds is may 8 2012 and this baby will be may 21 2014 give or take because it's a c section baby all within 23-24 months apart planned this way and we are done! Lol 3 under 4 for a month or so and I'm exhausted thinking about it now ...

My DS will be 4 on June 13th and this baby is due May 31st, practically a 4 year gap. It was planned. I would have had them closer together but my husband wasn't ready :P
