We are pretty darn excited, to say the least. We're stocking up the fridge and not leaving the flucking house for at least a week (unless we want to! And then we can take him anywhere with us! Anywhere!)

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
My dd had trouble feeding she remained in the hospital for 6weeks after birth (7/19) and finally came home (8/31) with a G tube button as well. A week after being home she picked up on feeding without the g tube and also started nursing which she didn't do before. After 4 weeks shy of having the tube placed in her belly it was removed!!!!! She is finally on the road to a full recovery. Sometimes all they need is to be home with mommy and daddy! Congrats on going home it's the best feeling ever!
