This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts!

Well, we're going home with an IV (18hrs/day) and home healthcare, and he has the g-button that we may or may not have to vent through because his belly is getting backed up so he's doing his best impression of a volcano once or twice a day. The projectile vomits delayed starting feedings, so he just took his first tiny bottle this morning (no spits yet!). So we still have a long way to go, but it could be months or years before he completely sheds the IV, so we're not going to wait around for that.
Basically, they probably wouldn't send most babies home at this point but I think a few people got together and said hey, these parents live at the hospital and do all this stuff anyway, lets let them do it at home with a little help from some nurses that come to them.

RCS on 6/27. Baby boy in NICU for 8 long and scary days before he was able to come home. We are now a happy family of 4
