LO's Christmas List?

My MIL is the queen of amazon.com. Each Christmas, we make a wish list on amazon, instead of just telling her what we would like. Well, she's already asking me to make a wish list for DD. She will be just under 4 months at Christmas, and I have no idea what to put on her wish list. We don't have a ton of toys for her yet, because she can't play with them yet, but I know she's gonna need some soon. What kind of things are you asking for/have you already bought for your LO for Christmas?

Also, what are you asking for for Christmas? I can only think of things that I want for the baby, such as a carrier, or new clothes, but nothing for me. What is the one thing you hope to get for Christmas?

Probably a walker, some toys, and books. We have more than enough clothes from relatives that we won't need to buy any until he's about a year old, lol.

Dylan is also getting practical things this year because he is too young to ask for anything....Clothes, blankets, crib sheets, books and a pack n play...

You could get some of those toys that convert so that they can be used at different ages.

Also, we don't have everything off of this list, but the things we do have DS loved/loves.

ETA: Like PP said, a toy box is also a good idea if you don't already have one. People will buy you ass tons of toys.

MIL has started asking too. I'll definitely ask for books, probably an exersaucer, maybe a wagon for next year? I'd really like a video camera but I fear it's a little extravagant. Honestly I'd just like something sentimental; a charm bracelet or something with DS's birthstone.

I told my mom to get LO a cardboard box. What I really want is to start LO's own personal book collection on her own shelf...in the futile hope that she leaves mommy and daddy's books alone.

@JilllyBean I am also super into the PB Anywhere chairs. I totally want to monogram one for her!

DD was gifted so much clothing, I don't think I need to buy anything until she's bigger than 18 month size.

We will also probably get an exersaucer, because she doesn't have one yet. I am also loving the Stokke High Chair, but I don't know if the price is worth it. I would have to have LO try it out in a store or something first.

Ha I told my mom she can contribute to dd's college fund. My mom said it was boring! I'm not going to get her lots of stuff cuz we are in a tiny apartment and all my fam will get her lots of toys and clothes.

I want a new carhartt jacket or maybe some new clothes for work.

Already bought LO a bead maze and going to fill the stocking with baby food and sippy cups. I always ask for Philosophy products for gifts for myself.

A new set of sensory balls and books. I started collecting all of the Dr Suess books with DD1 but as she got older people stopped buying her books. I'm going to transfer the ones we still need onto DD2's wishlist.

We are either asking for or buying an exersaucer. That'll probably be the big thing. We are keeping things light this Christmas bc we hope to buy a house for Christmas. So I tell the dog that he's getting a backyard and LO that she's getting her own bathroom.

I haven't thought about it too much. Some small toys, NO clothes [although my mom and grandma might do that anyway, they don't listen], books, an exersaucer/jumparoo I will definitely be asking for.

For me, nothing really. Maybe, just, maybe some new clothes. I could definitely use some.

We will open a savings account now that he has a ssn. It's boring but I will probably just tell anyone that wants a gift to deposit there.

Other than that, books and maybe some kind of toybox (loved the idea from pp and stole it).

For LO, books and solid food stuff (dishes, cups, etc) big items would be a high chair and a convertible car seat. Only bc I know my inlaws, I know he's getting spoiled no matter what, that's how they are. For me? My bday is next month and when DH asked me what I wanted, I just laughed. I have concert tix with a friend that week that were very expensive so I figure the combo of the cost and the freedom of a night off is enough for me.

As of now we are planning to ask for a high chair, exersaucer, and clothes but I'm sure she will end up getting all sorts of toys too.

LO's list includes an activity mat, board books, little critter/clifford books, clothes, and sensory toys.

I have a very large/broken family, so we have 13 Christmas' to attend. I'm working on making the list longer to avoid duplicates (I try not to tell anyone the same thing).

It is. It's also exhausting to explain to everyone why I dislike the holiday season. Though, I'm hoping it's not so bad this year, since we have LO. She's like the best excuse to come late and leave early.

FTR - It's not like all the families work together and form convenient times for everyone. Oh no. Sometimes I have 3 in one day/evening. Bastards.

Because of LO, you should make everyone figure out how they want to see you. Thats a lot of places to drag LO around to. I can see why you'd dislike the holidays.

I am thinking high chair since he will be almost to the age to eat food by that point. Maybe also a jumperoo, though I am currently keeping an eye on craigslist for one!

We were going to ask for a jumper that goes in the door way. My mom got one last week. Hopefully he gets a lot of books. I want to build up the collection and I think I have memorized all of his books already.
