M/MC - question about misoprostol and prior c/s

Found out today that baby stopped growing around 8 weeks. OB gave me misoprostol if we choose to go that route but in the blur of the moment i didnt ask about whether there was a risk as i've had a c/s. there is a risk of uterine rupture with using it late in pg to induce labour. I dont know about early pg though. Does anyone know? Sorry for formatting/punctuation - on the ipad.

I took mistoprostol and have also had a prior c/s. My OB said that the risk of rupture even in second trimester miscarriages is low, and he wasn't at all concerned about mine because the loss occurred at 6 weeks. As long as your doctor knew about your prior C/S its probably safe to say they are not concerned. Hope that helps!

I've taken miso but I haven't had a c/s. I think only your doctor can answer that question for you based on your medical history. Best of luck & hugs!!
