Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Help, night waking!

My lil guy is 3+ months. He's only been in the crib for the last 2 weeks. Week 1 he did well, woke up a few times but went right back to sleep. This week is a different story. Last night I was up with him for 2 hours before giving up. When I put him down he immediately wakes up. He likes the pacifier but can't keep it in his mouth. I held it for him for 30 mins but he didn't go to sleep. I go back to work in a week and need sleep! Help!

  • We notice ours is like that when she is not completely full. Usually about 2oz (or BF) is enough to top her off into la-la land.

  • The soother actually kept my DS awake so I stopped giving it to him & now he won't take it all. Which is actually great!

    Honestly, just hang in there.

We have found the best way to get DS asleep is to sit in the bathroom with the lights off while running the tap from the tub.

DS is generally a good sleeper too but the other night he woke @ 1 & was up for 2 hours. Not fun.

    It'll pass
  • I know our little guy had the same problems recently. He'll be ok one minute then screaming the next. At 3am I contemplated if I could get the mask Bain wore in Batman. I mean it would keep that darn paci in and he could totally still breathe (only semi joking)
