I chose other.
I own a roadside assistance company .... That's right, I do tire changes, battery jumps, lockouts and deliver emergency fuel for a living

Right now I have a great group of guys working for me, that are taking up the slack while I avoid changing tires for awhile. My husband took my jack and lug gun out of my car, so I can't be tempted.
In a few months I will be working on becoming a locksmith and implementing key replacement and auto lock repair to the business.

I'm a reference librarian in my city's public library. Sometimes rewarding, sometimes very frustrating and draining. Working with the public has its ups and downs!!

I'd rather manage my own library, or be either a teen or youth services librarian...one day.

I work in sales for a hotel company. Love my job, pay kinda sucks but my perks more than make up for it. Thankfully DH makes enough that I don't have to look for something else.

Agriculture! My family and DH are beef/crop farmers! We love it (most days!

Other: restaurant industry. I am a baker. Before this gig, I stayed at home. But before that, I was a manager for a couple gas stations. But I did baking before that. I completely mixed it up while I took my break from "the industry".

Also, DH is a chef and while he took his break from "the industry", he worked at a lumberyard. I guess when we take a break, we mean it!

I'm a retail manager. I never thought that'd be a career for me as I went to school to be an educational assistant but after some time working in that field I realized it wasn't for me. I the like my crazy hours I work and everyday is something new! We are always changing the store around and coming close to Christmas it's going to get busy. Can you believe we are setting up our Christmas shop in a couple weeks! I want to cry!! :'(

I had an interview yesterday & it went well but they move slower than frozen molasses. I haven't figured if I'll take it (if offered), because I might be able to make more on unemployment (I know, tsk tsk) and volunteer more until some of my connections pan out. I'm going to start running orientations for an animal shelter this weekend, get trained as an [animal] adoption counselor, & complete training to work with the "difficult" dogs. San Antonio is working toward becoming no-kill and it's pretty exciting to be a part of. I
Since a bunch of the jobs I'm trying to get are gov/military related and this is federal budget crisis time with the end of the fiscal year, it's the worst time to be job hunting.

@knsatx I dabble in everything but I crochet the most. It's my favorite. I'm currently trying to come up with a crochet Halloween door decoration. But I haven't figure out what I want to do yet.

Well, I have my dental hygiene license but I do not have a job. So, I crochet ALL day long. My husband works out of state and I go with him during the week so that's all I have to do is crochet.

I'm also a retail mngr. I worked for seven years in television advertising sales but quit my career to move here to be with DH. I Would like to get back into marketing someday but for now I accept that my experience and college degree don't help my current position.
