Do you put extra butter from the pump on your popcorn at the movies?

I chose sometimes...meaning if I don't feel like battling over it with DH. Usually I win and there is no butter added, but on occasion I let him add some. It's so wet and unnecessary!

HELL YES!!!

It's too dry otherwise.

I don't feel the same way about microwave popcorn though. For some reason movie theatre popcorn always seems like it will be stale.

I went with SS - I get it without butter so, "there's plenty of butter on it already" felt like a lie.

How do you get movie theater popcorn without butter on it? I mean, don't they always put butter in the little machine that makes the popcorn?

DH always ask for butter. So I get it by default.

I think they pop it in oil but they ask if you want butter or not. If you say yes, then they drizzle on melted butter or oil or whatever the heck it is. You then can go over and add extra butter from the pump (that is what I thought you were referring to) if you feel like what they already poured all over it is not enough.

As a kid, I probably would have taken a bucket of butter with some popcorn on the side. As an adult - I'm somewhere between being worried about my heart and my hips. Even without butter added, a small movie theater popcorn is 400 calories, with butter it is around 1000 - add more butter - I don't even want to think about that.

I'm a terrible person.

Would you feel less guilty if I told you that DH and I sometimes stay for a "double feature"? :-$

What if I told you I once snuck in an entire McDonald's meal (including a large sweet tea) in my purse. I'm kind of a master at sneaking things into the movie.

We sneak stuff in all the time.

I went once with my niece and she had filled her bag with snacks.

My SIL once had a huge bag of candy hidden under jacket...but it was so big the jacket didn't quite cover it haha.

Hell yes I do! Then I bring the extra popcorn home and purposely leave the bag open so I can snack on stale popcorn the next day hahah. I'm disgusting.

I feel like the extra butter makes it soggy and I just don't like the flavor of it.
