6 weeks no major symptoms... Should I be worried?!

I'm 6 weeks 3 days.
I have
-tender nipples (not boobs)
-very mild period like cramps (feels more like a tingle then cramp.. No spotting)
-gas
And the occasional mood swing.

I'm not fatigued, I don't feel nauseous, and my boobs don't hurt except my nipples.

Is it too early for symptoms, is something wrong or am I just lucky.

First pregnancy. Any info will help!!!!

  • No reason to worry. It can still be too early to have symptoms, or you might luck out and have none! It will all be okay!

  • I'm with you! Although I have been pretty sleepy and I see my hormones and emotions bouncing all around. But I don't feel the symptoms- I feel like its gas and some slight pressure but no sickness! I'm hoping it stays this way :)
  • My symptoms are identical & I heard the heartbeat at 6 w, 4 days and 7 weeks 6 days!! My friend had no symptoms for 9 months & had the most beautiful baby boy ever :)
  • I wouldn't be worried. Symptoms can come and go. Some women don't get many symptoms at all.

  • just count yourself lucky for now.  Everyone assumes you're supposed to have some huge array of crazy symptoms, but the truth is nothing and everything is basically normal.

My pregnancy with DD was easy peasy - almost no symptoms in 1st tri and it was awesome.

  • I am 7.5 weeks and have had barely any symptoms at all.  I had an u/s yesterday and everything is on track.

Symtoms, or lack thereof, don't dictate whether a pregnancy will be successful or not.  Heck, my two m/c's had more symptoms than my two successful (well, so far this one looks to have a good shot) ones.

This. You just listed symptoms! How can you say you don't have any? And even if you didn't have any, you still shouldn't worry. Everyone is different and each pregnancy is different. Stay positive and be thankful you've got the easy stuff for now :)

  • Nope no reason to be worried :) I started getting my symptoms a little after 6 weeks. And even now, they're not horrible. I think everyone wants morning sickness since that's the symptom of pregnancy that is so distinguisable. But my morning sickness is easy peasy really. Just queasy when I wake up in the morning and then I am fine. We all hear stories of people being sick allllll the time, but everyones normal is different. I am so thankful I don't feel sick all day long!

  • With DD I never had symptoms. None. Even late in pregnancy I never got heartburn, back pain, etc.
    This time though.....that's another story.

  • Rachelnicole: I have the same exact symptoms and am 6 weeks along as well!  I called my doctor's office on Monday because I was concerned about not having many symptoms and the ones that I do have are not that severe.  The nurse practitioner told me the same thing that everyone is saying; a lack of the stereotypical symptoms is not a red flag or a reason to be concerned.  She said if I had the symptoms and then they went away, then there would be some concern. She made sure to be clear that she isn't telling me that nothing is wrong but that I should not be worried because it is on the early side for symptoms to start.
