Hi Moms-
I'm new to posting here, but have enjoyed reading posts from many of you! I have a 2 year-old daughter and am due in March with my second. I had the full "work" with my daughter in terms of pain medication, epidural, etc. I am thinking that for this pregnancy, I would really like to go all natural. Have any of you switched methods from one baby to the next? Any advice?
Thanks in advance!

I really relate all my labor struggles to not having a knowledgeable support person (like a doula), being forced to have continuous fetal monitoring, and being stuck in the bed due to the monitoring. I progressed relatively quickly (less than 9 hours to 10 cm) and I think it would have been even faster if I could have had the help of gravity too. I feel like I really could have toughed it out for that amount of time with the right support and in the right setting.
I am going to play it by ear. I know not all inductions are the same, but if it seems similar to my last, I may try to skip it. My hospital only does "light" epis anyway, so during the pushing part, you feel it all...
After that ordeal I'm positive I could endure a natural birth, but the difficulty will be fighting the interventions with a vbac. I'm hoping to take a hypnobabies course (I used these methods with my first) and hire a doula.
