At 37w1d, my water broke at about 3:30 a.m. I had a fairly quick and intense labor, quickly dialting to 9 by about 8:30 a.m., started pushing around 10:20, and by 11:50 a.m. Evelyn Judith made her appearance. 6lb, 10 oz.
Because of the very large cyst we discovered before she was born, neonatal was there to check her out and take her to the NICU. They still think it is ovarian after her ultrasound yesterday, but she is scheduled to have surgery this morning.
Other than the cyst, all of her systems are normal, so we are very hopeful that she will quickly recover after the surgery.
