Cereal (a PSA and GTKY)

When I went to the grocery store last night, I was so excited to see they had some count chocula!!

This pregnancy, I have been LOVING cereal! It's mandatory right now our pantry be stocked with - Cinnamon Life, Honey Bunches of Oats, Trix and now Count Chocula and Boo Berry.

So what's your favorite type of cereal? Or favorites if you are like me and can't pick just one?

    I like Special K Red Berries, granola, and a nice bowl of Reese's Puffs for dessert sometimes ;)

  • My favorite of all time is Froot Loops.

    But I never, ever buy it.  Our house is stocked with Cheerios and Kashi Go-Lean Crunch.  Ugh.

  • I prefer Shreddies and Multigrain Cheerios over the sugary stuff. My husband is terrible for eating Lucky Charms, CTC, Captain Crunch.... I dont know how his teeth haven't fallen out of his head from all the sugar.

  • I have been loving cereal too! We never used to have cereal in the house, but now we have six different kinds in the pantry. My favorites are Trix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Frosted Mini Wheats. I love Cocoa Puffs, but don't buy them very often.

  • Honey Bunches [no almonds] and Frosted Flakes are my faves. Milk and I didn't get along for awhile, but now that I like it again, I eat cereal way too much.

    Berry kix. When I can find it.
    But mainly honey bunches of oats, frosted mini wheats with fruit in the middle. Golden grahams and lucky charms if I'm feeling sugary

  • Can't get enough cereal either. I like the lamer kinds - Kashi Go Lean Crunch is my fave b/c it's full of fiber and protein so it actually fills me up. I have 1-2 bowls a day and then sometimes 'snack' on other types of cereal. This baby looooves cereal!

  • I eat cereal as a snack. My go to's are Frosted mini wheats, cap'n crunch, cheerios, cinnamon toast crunch.

    I cannot eat cereal in a bowl, with milk (ya know like normal people do!) just the thought of it makes me cringe!

  • I love me some Lucky Charms but refuse to buy them because I would eat it every day. Count Chochula sounds yummm! Enjoy!

     

    I bought some fiber one stuff recently and it's just ok.

  • I love Oh's, and Honey bunches of oats with vanilla bunches.  If I am feeling like a rebel, I will buy cocoa pebbles, but my husband will finish it before I get more than two bowls, so it's not that bad  ;)

  • I have been going crazy on the cereal too. I eat it for breakfast and then as an afternoon snack. Currently I like Frosted Mini wheats, cracklin oat bran, and honey nut Cheerios. Yum!

    We have oatmeal here - with bananas, almonds, cashews, drizzled with honey and cinnamon and topped off with some coconut almond milk. And I always put in 5-10chocolate chips into the bowl because I love when it melts and you get a surprise treat in a spoonful!

    But as a treat, I will sometimes sneak in some Frosted Flakes into the cart because well...they're great!

  • I love Reese's Puffs and Frosted Flakes, but we almost never have them. I also really like Frosted Mini Wheats, Raisin Bran, and Puffed Rice cereal.

    I don't eat cereal often for breakfast because I find I'm still really hungry afterwards, but occasionally I'll eat it as a snack. We haven't had any in a while though, and the other day I really wanted some but couldn't figure out what to get so we didn't get any. Now I regret it!

  • I like Reese's Puffs and have a box going stale in my pantry from my morning sickness days when it was one thing I could actually stand putting in my mouth. I almost never eat cold cereal but now I am jonesing for some Count Chocula!

    I love, love, loved Waffle Crisp. If they still made that, I'd prbly eat more cereal. That's kind of why I switched to maple & brown sugar oatmeal!

  • Cereal is one spot I have let myself splurge. I have a couple healthier options, but am loving indulging in those sugar cereals my mom refused to buy when I was a kid!

  • I wanted count chocula SO bad when we shopped last week. Walmart didn't have it and I was stuck with cocoa krispies. My go to's (all of which I'm currently burnt out on) apple jacks, smacks, and frosted flakes. Occasionally it's honey nut cheerios or cinnamon toast crunch. I have to get kinds H likes because I get bored quick.

  • I love Trader Joes cereals - the high fiber .. Vanilla/chocolate almond ... My fave of all time is Love Crunch but its just so darn expensive. I've never liked the fake fruity cereals (fruit loops or pebbles or berries) I mostly just like plain protein/fiber stuff and then to sweeten it I slice up a banana or add raspberries or blueberries or even a spoonful of peanut/almond butter in there :)

  • I can't handle any hint of sugar in my cereal and usually gravitate toward plain Cheerios. But since getting pregnant, I can't eat enough Total. I hate that it is so expensive, though. 
  • Love Count Chocula and Frankenberry!! I was on a Cinnamon Toast Crunch kick but lately I've been eating Fruit Loops with Marshmallows! I'm such a kid!!

  • I have never eaten as much cereal as I have in the last 6 months. Cheerios (with banana) is my current thing, but I always have cinnamon something in the pantry. Frosted flakes are delicious, too!
  • I hardly ever eat cereal, but occasionally the craving for Honey Nut Cheerios will strike. This has always been my all-time fave!

  • My all-time favorite is Frosted Flakes, closely followed by Lucky Charms. But I rarely eat those anymore for some reason. I do love the fruit-filled frosted mini-wheats and Kashi GoLean toasted berry crumble. I ate a lot of raisin bran during first trimester because it was one of the few things I could stomach but now I have a bad association between that and being sick.

  • I love cereal. Some of my favs are fruity pebbles, captain crunch berries, golden grahams, apple jacks, raisin bran, cinnamon toast crunch, life, frosted flakes. Now I need to go to the store and buy some cereal, I ate all of what we had last night. I often eat cereal as a dessert.

  • You know I am hooked on Cereal too!!!! I always have Frosted Flakes, Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms and Chex Corn Cereal.  I could totally have cereal for supper every night as well as breakfast. I LOVE IT, and BONUS the milk is a great calcium intake.

    And I can't believe I didn't include Lucky Charms, Captain Crunch w/Berries and Raisin Bran Crunch in my original list! Although, it was getting a bit long!

  • Oh man, I feel like I like all cereal lol!  Favorites though are Cinnamon LIfe, Honey Nut Cheerios, Frosted Mini Wheats and Raisin Bran.  I'm actually craving some Raisin Bran right now yummm
