I'm sure this has been asked but my ds keeps getting up between 5 and 5:30 and it's killing me! He's mostly happy in the morning and seems ready to get up but still gets tired about 3 hours after waking. He's fighting the morning nap with the sitters this week and only take a one hour afternoon nap. His bedtime is 7 and some days he's cranky and we go to bed at 6:30 other days he's fine and it's closer to 7:30. Is there anything we can do to get him to sleep in a little later? Even 6 would be great! Or are we doomed to be morning people? I'm off to get coffee to make it through my work day...
Re: Early risers
I feel your pain! Only we are the crazy ones waking DD up at the butt crack of dawn!
We both have long commutes and need to leave the house by 5:45-6:00. The "plan" is to wake DD up at 5:30. But most days its closer to 5:45-6:00. She gets a quick diaper change, nursed, and she goes to the sitters (my cousin) in her PJ. When she was younger, she'd go back to sleep until 7:00-7:30 at the sitters. But once summer hit and my cousoin's kids were home, DD stopped going back to sleep.
My problem is with weekends! Alot of the time she'll waks up at 5:45 or 6:00! Yuck! If she wakes crying its safe to say she's sstill tired, so I give her 5-10 mins. If she's still a hot mess I go in there and nurse her, hoping that would put her back to sleep. But usually then she's awake and ready to start her day. If she wakes happy, I just let her play for a bit in her crib. Until she starts calling out for "mama". Sometimes she'll play and talk for 20-30 minutes. And I get a little extra sleep. Then sometimes I'm lucky and she sleeps on weekends until 7:00! Oh I love those days! LOL!

At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!
