So, what's up with the "flag" button?
All members will have the ability to anonymously report posts that will now come directly to both moderator and admin attention. Keep in mind that we will review and take appropriate actions. This flagging option is NOT to be used as a “dislike” button or on posts that may disagree with you, etc.
The Bump will keep records of all reported posts and handle abusers of this flagging privilege individually.
In addition to flagged posts, we will continue to address any violations of our Community Rules. Review them here.
What should I flag?:
Spam- Any posts advertising services
Harassment- If you feel a user is harassing a member to an extreme level.
Online Vandalism- Posts designed to raise a user’s post count.
Personal Information- Any post where a person’s personal information is being given without their consent. This includes name, telephone number, address, email address, work information, etc.
Impersonating Other Members/The Bump Employees- Any username designed to be a copy of another user’s name or Knot Employee.
An obvious violation of the Community Rules should also be flagged.

Points are just from activity level....I honestly am not sure exact point accumulation per post and reply. I think they might come from "love its" too, which are just people saying they love what you wrote, as well as how often you are tagged....like this @ExpectingBlessing2009

I re-read all of Car's posts that you flagged and they were not abusive in any way. This is a message board that includes many different aspects of pregnancy and getting pregnant, and that includes infertility and loss. You cannot expect people to not share the bad...it happens, and frankly, knowledge is power. Car's NT scan post was extremely informative and I think it was awesome of her to share her experience (as difficult as it is to relive those memories).
In the HCG post she was very nice and helpful. The OP was extremely oversensitive and the post you flagged was simply a response clarifying previous responses. Frankly, I would have told OP to request an u/s now to rule out huge cysts if she is "showing" this early.
I will be removing your flags now and in the future...abuse is a personal attack...name calling, wishing extreme ill will (not I hope you spill your coffee, I'm talking drink bleach comments) or other extreme harassment.

Darling, I know what the flag button is for. I have been around here for quite a while. You did not use it correctly. It doesn't matter what you don't like, it matters what is actually against the rules. Flag button abusers have been getting banned left and right. Right now you would be considered a flag button abuser because nothing you flagged was actually flag worthy.
Not a problem. I am glad we are able to reverse flag abuse now.

I am not a troll, I have never been a troll. I have been a regular on this forum for 3 years now. In that time I have created very strong bonds and friendships with lots of the women here. Am I a mean and hateful person? No, not at all. Does that mean that I tolerate BS or blow sparkly fairy dust everywhere? Nope! I am blunt, just like the rest of this forum.
I am an extremely supportive person to those who deserve it. You can ask any regular around here, they know.

Do yourself a favor @Itsbethloveyo, learn the rules, learn how The Bump operates. It's not for everyone. If it's not for you then go find another forum that fits your style instead of trying to tell the regulars they are wrong for doing the same thing they have been doing from the time this site was created.
