My name is Jaime I'm 23. I am a dental assistant and will be going back to school in 2 years for dental hygiene. my DH is 29 and he is a corrections officer and will be starting Sargent s training next week. We have been married for almost 3 years!
Ella is our first child she was due 4/6 and was born 4/5. We will be trying for another LO next month.. oh big wish me luck lol
I joined the bump in 2009 when I was getting married but didn't really "bump". Until half way through my pregnancy!
H and I are both 34. We've been married 14 yrs. We live in KY, but I'm originally from Upstate NY. Phoebe was born April 9th. I have 3 other children ages 13, 11 and 9. I am a food literacy educator with a local nonprofit. My focus in university was food access inequalities and urban farming. H is a worship leader and university student. We have a dog, cat and 5 chickens.
If somebody thinks they're a hedgehog, presumably you just give 'em a mirror and a few pictures of hedgehogs and tell them to sort it out for themselves.-Douglas Adams
Melissa - just turned 32. DH is also 32. We've been together a little over 7 years, married for 4.5. We live in Arlington, TX - right in between Dallas and Fort Worth. DH is in the oil & gas industry and I am a hair stylist. We are stupidly big baseball fans - we met at the Ballpark and actually had our reception there too!
Madeline (Maddie) is our first - with hopes for 1, maybe 2 siblings for her...
My name is Sarah. I am 32 and SO is 33. I have been married for 4 years, but we have been together for 8 years. We have known eachother since H.S and were college roommates, but didnt date until after college.
We are from Brooklyn NY. I am an elementary school teacher for special ed kids and teach 4th grade. My husband works from home in the evenings. He is about to become Mr. Mom while I am at work. I am going back on Tuesday from maternity leave and am DREADING it!!!!
Maisie, our first born came on May 1st via c-section. My due date was April 23rd so I was induced. After 30 hours of labor and 3 hours of pushing they decided in the C section.
We love to travel and have been all over the world. We honeymooned in Southeast Asia and spent a month in India the summer before I became pregnant. In my old life when I had time I liked to sew and stay out late with friends. In my new life I like to take care of my baby and meet up with friends in the park!
I'm 26 and DH is 31. We've known each other for twenty two years. We've been dating for twelve (ill do the math for you: I was 14, he 19), married for three. M was our first baby, born the same day as @clgsquared's squish, 4/16/13 after a wonderful, spontaneous and fast but calm labor. We love movies and playing basketball, playing video games and my husband is an amazing photographer, photoshopper and family movie maker. We currently live in PA where DH is miserable, so moving will be in the near future. I love horses and plan to start bringing M with me to the stables soon (with a shirt that says "I'm told I love horses" . It's nice to meet everyone! ETA I work full time as a supervisor for group homes while DH is a SAHD
I'm 28, SO is 30. Miles is out first (and very much a surprise), and was born April 19 after me being induced (I was at 41 weeks and he still was making no attempts at escape). We have two fur babies ( a boxer named Lola and a little mixed dog named Atticus ), they are both really good with LO, the boxer treats him like he is her baby. I'm a SAHM until LO reaches pre school age and SO is a commercial plumber. I was on TB off and on while pregnant but have been mostly a lurker since he was born. LO is a very happy, good natured baby and for that I am lucky!
I'm 32 and my husband is 41. I grew up in Malibu, CA, went to college in NYC and lived there for a few years afterwards. When I moved back to Los Angeles to take a part on a TV show, I met my husband (who had also just moved from NYC) through a mutual friend. He is an amazing and commercially licensed singer/songwriter as well as the editor-in-chief of a national magazine. At the moment, he's working on a book and a new record. I manage our investments online, but am also an actress and avid photographer. I have always processed my own film and made my own prints, but since getting pregnant (and now nursing), those chemicals are a no-go, so I'm on hiatus.
We were together almost five years before getting married and then got pregnant about a year after tying the knot. That ended in a miscarriage and we got pregnant with Beatrix about a year and a half later. I had a home birth on April 5th. It was the most empowering and mind-blowing experience of my life. B was due on the 13th, but based on my cycle (and the fact that my mom was three weeks late with me), I was convinced she was gonna be late and I had all of my arguments prepared as to why I should be able to go two or three weeks past due. Didn't need any of those - instead we were scrambling because nothing was really ready.
We have an ancient rescue dog named Theophilus. He's a Chihuahua mix who was supposed to be put down at the South Central LA shelter the day I got him. He was six pounds and had puncture wounds from being attacked by a bigger dog. His eyes were pus-filled and he had bald patches down his back. When I pet him, his hair came off. He was the dog for me! He's now somewhere around 16 years old (I've had him for eight years) and is 12 pounds of amazingness. He will always be my first baby.
Currently we live in Brooklyn, NY, but after a visit to my mom's a few weeks ago, we've started looking at buying something in Malibu near her. I want B to grow up knowing my mom. My mom and dad had cancer at the same time. My mom made it, my dad didn't. We've also recently lost my husband's mom to cancer and his father passed when he was a toddler, so my mom is B's only grandparent and I really want them to know each other. Westward Ho!
I'm Kate, I'm 32 and a lawyer at leg.al aid. Hubs is 28, he's a journalist. We've been together 7 years, married nearly 4. We live in my home town here in Australia with our 2 girls and our pet chook.
Hi I'm Ann I'm 28 been with my DH for fourteen years and married for five. Ashley was born 4/17 and is our first. We are in CA. I mobile bump 99.9% of the time. I haven't read everyone's posts yet but looking forward to it. It's nice to have such a great group to talk things through with.
Hello Ladies! My name is Jenn and I actively posted during the early part of my pregnancy but have only lurked on and off due to being busy at work and home.
I'm 31 and DH is 30. Been married for 1.5 years and together for 11. We live in NY and I work in Manhattan as a nurse in a Children's Hospital. We had our first baby (Noah) on 4/9/13. He was one week and one day late. Arrived via emergency c-sec. Our little guys is truly our pride and joy
Just wanted to let you all know that I've enjoyed reading all of your posts and that your babies are beautiful. It's wonderful to see your little ones grow up. I'll try to be more active and post more often. Btw sorry for the outdated siggy. Been bumping on mobile and have yet to fix/update it from my home computer.
Hey Ladies! My name is Jessica and I recently turned 28. I'm a stay at home mom and I have been married for two years (August 20th, 2011). We have a daughter who will be turning 3 on November 10th. I'm literally in tears looking at schools for her to start soon. My son is 5 months and was born on April 18th. I was due on the 10th with him but after realizing my baby was measuring 9 lbs, 7 ounces I was induced. After pushing for two hours, he was born at 11:45pm at 8 lbs, 11 ounces. My daughter loves and adores her brother (sometimes too much, lol).
Oooh, good idea! I was around during pregnancy, but due to moving and the Bump's new format hating me for a month, I disappeared for a bit, so I figure it can't hurt to re-introduce myself.
Hi, I'm Emily! I'm 24, so is DH. We've been married for almost 2 years, but have been together since high school. I was Team Green during pregnancy; my water broke on my due date, but our little girl wasn't born until the next day, April 3rd (it was a LONG and kind of scary birth story). She's our first and only--for now!
We live in Anaheim, CA; we've been here for almost five months and are finally starting to feel at home (of course, being within walking distance from the Happiest Place on Earth helps!). DH works for the government; I'm a SAHM. My interests are really, really nerdy, and the only outside-the-home hobby I've got going on is singing in my church choir.
P.S. @tondraluv I'm in Orange County, so geographically, we're pretty close to each other (though traffic would dictate that we're maybe an hour or two apart)!

Hi, I'm Alyse. I am 24 and my SO is 25. We live in Maine. I run the infant/toddler program at a small daycare center and unfortunately my SO is laid off right now (he worked in concrete before). Our DD Adilynn was born 3/31 (due 4/5). I said my whole pregnancy that I was going tohave her on Easter and I did! Lol I didn't post during pregnancy, I started after I had her.
I'm 31, H is 32. We've been together for 10 years, married for six. Ava will be 3 in December and Mila is five months. Ava was a 24 hour vaginal birth born nice and timely on her due date with a lovely epidural. Mila was born via emergency C-section after a 48 hour failed induction, two failed epidurals and a failed spinal. She was wedged sideways and so she had a cone on the side of her head Fun side note: the doctor who came to place my foley bulb was my sorority sister and the anesthesiologist at my c section (who saw me totally naked) was my brothers tennis doubles partner in high school. So that was a fun little unexpected reunion
Before being a SAHM I worked for a professional sports team as an event planner. I left that job to get my MS in early childhood education. H is a real estate developer who builds new construction and builds green homes when he can.
@ChicagoBroad26 - That's so cool that your husband builds green homes! My husband and I are kind of in love with the idea of buying land near my mom and building a house by LivingHomes - they build really eco-friendly LEED certified homes. This is the one we are currently obsessed with:

Hello my name is Sol I am 23 and my SO is 25. We have been together for 2 years going on 3. And we have our first baby girl Jasmine Isabella who is 5 months old. My SO has a son from his previous relationship who is 4 yrs old. I work as a nanny and my SO is in the ARMY at this moment we live in separate states I live in Houston,he lives in LA on base. And we see each other when his job allows it. Nice to read about everyone makes me feel like I know you better!
@Mommymorticia Eureka Springs is one of our favorite weekend getaways! Do you live near there? We love driving around NW Arkansas in the fall, so beautiful!
I've been on for a while, but never have the time to contribute as much as I'd like. The only reason I can write this now is because I'm on lunch break at jury duty selection! (Don't even ask where I just pumped). I'm 35 and a first time mom.DH and I have been together for fifteen years, two of them married. Getting our little angel was a tough road with a late term loss the try before, but Samantha was a dream- pregnancy, labor, and right up to now. I also have two adult step children from my husbands first marriage.
We live in western NY. I teach at a school that is so close to my house that I can come home and feed LO at lunch time. DH stays home with Sam which makes mornings very easy.
When we hit the lottery, I'll be a say at home mom and have five more kids. Until then, life is good as it is now.

Gorgeous! I love the fireplace and the outdoor features.

Oh neat! Its about an hour! I do love going to Eureka in the fall and walking the shops, it is very beautiful. They usually really live it up for Halloween with all of the 'haunted' buildings, I was just thinking I would love to take T soon. I went when I was pregnant and got so tired walking those hills lol!
I'm fairly new here and go through spells of posting and lurking. I'm 27 and my husband is closing in on 30. We've been married for 3 years. Our little girl was born April 8th after the best pregnancy and labor I could have asked for. My husband is a football coach (which means I won't see him again until late November.) I work in Student Services now but used to be a Child Protective Services investigator. We currently live in North Alabama.
I'm Stephi. I have been bumping on this board off and on since I was preggo. I am 29, husband is 27. We have been married almost 3 years. We have a 5 1/2 year old Corgi named Ginger. We just had our first daughter, Mina, on April 10. (Due date was April 15). I got my BS in psych with a minor in music in May, but I haven't gotten a job in that field yet. I am currently a server at the Cheesecake Factory. My husband is in school for a degree in art/computer science. He works in IT at the university hospital (which is, conveniently, downstairs from where we had the baby). I live in the southwest.
Mina was a wonderful/beautiful surprise. Our plan was to wait until we were both out of college and with jobs in our respective fields before we had kids. But, life happens. We have been working hard to get things back on track. We just moved into a bigger house in August. So my days are pretty busy between Mina, the dog, and unpacking/decorating.
Also, for those of you trying to remember me, I am the one whose parents are in Australia and my Mom is very unreasonable about many many things since she is there and we are in the States (well, she is unreasonable anyways, but it is much worse now that she is on the other side of the planet). And my MIL is AWESOME!
So, yeah, that is me in a nutshell. I had to take a break from bumping because I was waaaay too busy for a while there. But, life has calmed down now, so I'll try to bump more. Also, I'll see about getting a siggy...apparently mine disappeared when the website was reformatted. See you later!
DH and I are both 27. We live in the DC Metro area. He works in contracts, I'm a SAHM. We've been married for 4 years, together for 8. We have 2 miniature pinschers, AKA the furry kids. Genevieve was born on 4/18. Much like Mary Poppins, she's practically perfect in every way
Married July 3, 2009 | Furbaby Trevor July 15, 2009 | Furbaby Darcy May 15, 2010 | BFP August 14, 2012 | DD April 18, 2013
Elizabeth- I'm 20 my husband is 29. Age difference I know. We have known eachother our whole lives. Dated 3 years. Been married for 1. We had our LO 4/27/13 exactly 6 days after our 1st year anniversary.
I'm a SAHM and we definitely want to have another baby someday. We hope to have 3 or 4 but are taking it a baby at a time.
After we are done having kids and they become more independent Id like to become a certified doula as the whole process of birth just excites and amazes me.
I'm Mellisa and I'm 30. My So is 34. We meet like 5 years ago and dated for a couple of months and split up then about 2 years met up again and decided to try it again. My son Calen was born March 29th. He was born via scheduled c- section due to being breech. My pregnancy was great up until I was 6 months along and the found out I had low fluid an ended up on bed rest for the remainder of the pregnancy. I was a part of this board when I was pregnant with him so decided to stay here. I'm a little bit of a lurker due to the fact I mobile bump mostly and posting can be a pain. I found out I was pregnant right before I started my last semester of nursing school. I currently am working as a nurse on a med/surg floor and love it. My SO works with a veterans program out here (Oklahoma) helping vets try to stay out of jail. I have 2 dogs. Hercules and Persephone. Hercules my boy dog is still coming to terms with not being my only little boy. My SO and I would like to try and have another when Calen turns 2.
I'm Debbie, 32. DH is 28 (cradle robber;) )! We met exactly 6 years ago this month through his mother! We were both coaching high school volleyball, I was the school counsellor and his mom was the librarian. He was taking a year off university and working for a grain company. We live in a tiny town in Saskatchewan, Canada. Like tiny. 1000 people tops. Before going on mat leave I was working as a mental health therapist. We have a 2.5 year old DS and DD is 5.5 months. I have 18 months off work and am loving staying at home with the kids! When I go back I hope to only work 60% but haven't discussed with my manager yet!! No family pets yet but I hope to get a dog when the kids are older!! I grew up having dogs and I'd like for them to have that experience too.
I am 27, and DH is 31. We've known each other for 7 years and been married for 6. We have 3 kids now; 2 sweet girls and our little man. DD1 just had her 6th birthday. DD2 is now 4, and DS hit the 5 month mark the same day DD1 had her birthday. I am a SAHM, and DH just finished the last of his courses for his computer engineering program back in August. (DS was born the week of his April finals.) DH is home on parental leave from his last job and both my girls are in school now, so from 9-3, it's just me, the hubs, and baby. I'm a country-turned-city girl. I grew up on a farm, and think that was the best kind of childhood ever. I miss the space, but definitely not the chores! We have no fur-babies and probably never will, as DH is allergic. So the kids and I get our "pet fix" by visiting my parents' farm. Oh, and we live in Ontario.
Hi I’m Katie, DH and I are both 27 we meet in college and
have been married for 3 year. LO arrived on April 22nd via vaginal
delivery. I’m going to summarize our story cause I’m not trying to write a
novel here. LO went straight to the NICU because he was breathing funny. 6
hours after delivery I had emergency surgery to repair a 4th degree
tare they didn’t notice (they thought it was only a 2nd degree and
had fixed it). I spent 3 days in the hospital due to blood lose. LO spent 7
days in the NICU to monitor his breathing. Luckily after I was released he got
a private room in the NICU, so I got to stay with him.
Once released we went to
a specialist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and LO was diagnosed with Pierre
Robin Sequence. He has a small chin that is set back and can cause his tongue
to obstruct his air way, also his pallet is not formed correctly and may need
surgery to correct when he is older, they won’t know if he needs surgery until he
begins to talk. So you can see why I haven’t been much of a poster, as first
time parents everything was a little overwhelming.
At 4 month LO is doing great! Most of his airway issues have
resolved themselves. His is under weight as he has to work a little harder to
eat, because he can’t create suction, but we have great support at Children’s
hospital. I’m sure there are interesting things to say about myself but I have forgotten
them, we are all consumed with LO. Life is starting to feel normal again as I returned
to work 3 weeks ago. We are so fortunate to have our wonderful family nearby I don’t
know how we would have survived without them.
Cassie-turned 25 this year. My husband is 30. We've been together over 5 years, married for over 3. Our little girl was kind of a "surprise" but a welcome one! We live in Southern California, in Orange County but he's originally from Colorado where we met when I was in college and we plan on moving back eventually. He's a sales director for a software company and I'm currently a SAHM-I have a BSW which was great in Colorado but kind of worthless out here. I'm hoping to get my Crossfit Level 1 Certification early next year so I can coach part time and still get to stay home with my little girl, and hopefully for our next ones first couple years as well.
She was due 3/1, wasn't born until 3/11 after 26 hours of labor and an emergency C section. We're a huge Notre Dame fan family (I know, I know...) and Bronco fans. Riley is our first, and we figure when she's a bout 2, we'll start talking about a sibling. The plan is , do a big 5 year anniversary trip, then try for #2.
Little Riley-our first little girl coming March 1st, 2013 (or sometime around there;)
Better late than never! I am Tyler. I will be 31 in a few weeks. DH is 31. DD was born 4/15; almost a week over due. We live in Ohio and I am a SAHM. That's about it.
I haven't been on to post since our baby boy Silas arrived, but here it goes!
I am 27 and my DH is 31. We met on August 20, 2005 in New York City while I was vacationing with my mother and he was there for the day with his friend. We were sat down next to each other at a comedy club and went out all night! (well, I was 19, so not all night, lol). We met up again in November on my way home from photography a wedding and have been together ever since!
We got married June 20, 2009. We honeymooned in Jamaica. We started trying for baby shortly after with a quick success which didnt end well. Now we have our beautiful Silas due April 17, but born the 13th due to induction. I had HELLP syndrome and a 36 hour labour but managed to still have him vaginally.
My husband is a strong, hard-working, amazing drummer and the greatest man I've ever known. He works his butt off so I can stay home and raise our son. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Hi all 100 of you! Wow, I don't know if anyone will bother reading this far but here goes nothing. My name is Jenna and I am 26, with my husband being 27. I am on leave from a masters in social work and will return in April. My husband works in insurance. Baby girl was due in April but arrived on May first. She is our first and can as a total surprise after the first not so careful night in four years of marriage.. Whoops we actually found out about her 2 days after finding out about grad school- talk about a crazy week! Turns out our planning could not have made her timing any more perfect than it was, and she has made our family so different, but so much more wonderful! Glad to have this board even just to lurk!
Hi All - my name is Kim, and I'm also late to the party. but since I'm home using more advance leave to care for my husband who had hip surgery on Friday and my son who has a fever, I am happy to find a supportive group!
My son was born on April 10th and is the most amazing joy and challenge I could have ever imagined. I work full-time as an attorney, and I'm learning how to balance everything. I'm also a bed-sharing, breastfeeding, baby-wearing, trying to make my own food mama!
Oh, and I'm from New England transplanted to Arlington, VA. Looking forward to getting to know everyone a little better!
Re: S/O re-introductions..lets all do one!
Ella is our first child she was due 4/6 and was born 4/5.

I have 18 months off work and am loving staying at home with the kids! When I go back I hope to only work 60% but haven't discussed with my manager yet!! No family pets yet but I hope to get a dog when the kids are older!! I grew up having dogs and I'd like for them to have that experience too.
Hi I’m Katie, DH and I are both 27 we meet in college and have been married for 3 year. LO arrived on April 22nd via vaginal delivery. I’m going to summarize our story cause I’m not trying to write a novel here. LO went straight to the NICU because he was breathing funny. 6 hours after delivery I had emergency surgery to repair a 4th degree tare they didn’t notice (they thought it was only a 2nd degree and had fixed it). I spent 3 days in the hospital due to blood lose. LO spent 7 days in the NICU to monitor his breathing. Luckily after I was released he got a private room in the NICU, so I got to stay with him.
Once released we went to a specialist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and LO was diagnosed with Pierre Robin Sequence. He has a small chin that is set back and can cause his tongue to obstruct his air way, also his pallet is not formed correctly and may need surgery to correct when he is older, they won’t know if he needs surgery until he begins to talk. So you can see why I haven’t been much of a poster, as first time parents everything was a little overwhelming.
At 4 month LO is doing great! Most of his airway issues have resolved themselves. His is under weight as he has to work a little harder to eat, because he can’t create suction, but we have great support at Children’s hospital. I’m sure there are interesting things to say about myself but I have forgotten them, we are all consumed with LO. Life is starting to feel normal again as I returned to work 3 weeks ago. We are so fortunate to have our wonderful family nearby I don’t know how we would have survived without them.
