@atlvol and @altima80, if either of you are back in the area and want to meet up (even if it's just for a quick coffee), let me know. Other than Thanksgiving and Christmas, we're pretty much always here.
Will do! And I see there are 2 other Atlanta ladies on here!
There are several of us in St. Louis, I think. I live in the city, I saw a couple StL-area comments in this thread, and I know another prominent J13-er is from an StL suburb (I don't want to speak for her since she hasnt shown up in this thread, but she's posted where she's from on here before).
I grew up in KC, but on the MO side.
You live in STL? Did your LO go to Barnes? I did a rotation on pediatric surgery there and the doctors are awesome!
Nope, we're at Mercy

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
@dccornel--nice, finally someone else from CO! (even if you are in NY now!! ) I'm a proud native and wouldn't want to live anywhere else (other places are nice to visit though!!)
@MrsErinH SO and I will most likely be relocating our brood to Central FL in a few years, once I finish my BSN and get a little more experience in my field. It would be like a dream come true to be an L&D nurse in Celebration with a PT job as a nurse for Disney World.
cool! I am in Sarasota. pretty much hating this insanely hot weather this past week. we are dachshund lovers over here too. we have a wired haired one, he's a big clown.
We live near Clearwater beach. The dachshund in my avatar is pretty chill. She had two surgeries when she just a puppy so I think that mellowed her out. We have a wild chiweenie, though!
I was going to ask what part yesterday but ran out of battery - my whole (traitor) family lives in FL (after convincing me not to move because "florida is yucky" ha). Even with kids, we end up at Clearwater beach at least once a year. We will be in Tampa/Largo most likely in Oct & Feb.
Vancouver, WA here, which is just across the river from Portland, OR. Nice to see a couple of WA peeps here! I know there are a couple of other Portlanders around here too!
@kitten80 Neat! We live right off of Gulf to Bay which is the main road that takes you to the beach. I actually love the weather here. I am always cold, so I don't think I could live anywhere else.
@KMSonn Nice to see another Marylander! What part?
It seems as if we're the only ones . Just outside of Baltimore- White Marsh area. I think I saw that you're in Annapolis?
Nice! You're super close to our old house. DH and I lived in Federal Hill in Baltimore City for 6 years before moving 10 minutes outside of Annapolis a few months ago. I've only been to White Marsh a few times (hello, Ikea!), but a lot of our friends and coworkers have settled in the area.
@CJ086 Well, at least we're both alone in beautiful states
Absolutely! I lived near Nashville for a few years and outside Richmond VA for a few months and both times I came back home to the place I truly love. There is nothing like living in the beautiful mountains. Unless of course we are just about to the dreaded leaf peeping season when you want to send all the tourists home. Where in ME are you? I live in the White Mtns in NH.
I'm from New Mexico, specifically Albuquerque. Moved to Billings, MT for college and I am currently residing in Hinesville, Georgia. But we are moving back to Albuquerque (fingers crossed) next summer when DH's contract is finished.
I was born and raised in Albuquerque! I miss it so much! I especially missed the green chile when I was pregnant!
I currently live in St. Louis.
I was so happy that I got to spend the last half of my pregnancy back there because I craved green chile on EVERYTHING. Literally, we could go out anywhere while I was back there and I'd have a green chile something or other even if I hadn't intended to get that particular item. The call of the chile is strong Lol

My parents have a place right off Gulf To Bay! They're snow birds. We visit every year and will be going sometime in Jan/Feb!
Awesome! You, kitten and I could have a meetup because I think she said she visits around the same time.

Wow, the White Mountains are breathtaking! I live in Lewiston. Pretty embarrassing, but at least there are plenty of pretty places around us to visit.
@Owl214, I don't think people mean to say they are from boston its just the most thought of area in ma. I have a house in the city but we live in the burbs 20 minutes away! Regardless we are all from ma whether it Worcester, Boston or springfield.
Oh I know! I just went to BC and tons of people loved to claim they were from Boston - sorry I realize it prob came off b*tchy
