How long did you bleed after giving birth?

I'm planning on bf so I was just curious how long you bled after delivery??

    I'm at almost 2 weeks after giving birth and I am pretty much done bleeding. It's very light now.

    I'm at 3 weeks after a c section and have very light bleeding but it's still there.

    BFP #1 12/23/12 EDD 9/3/13 DD #1 8/26/13

    BFP #2  2/25/16  EDD 11/5/16 MMC 4/15/16

    BFP #3  8/31/16  EDD  5/12/17 It's a GIRL!

    At 3 weeks pp, I still needed light (thin) pads. At 4 weeks, I can get by with a pantyliner. I'm still spotting, occasionally a little heavier.

    I'm at week 4 today and still wear a regular pad.  The bleeding isn't constant but when it happens (a few times a day) I need the pad.  I'm breastfeeding, which may affect it?  I know that causes uterine contractions and I tend to bleed while feeding LO.

    I bled for 6 weeks. I had a C & did not take it easy afterwards. My bleeding slowed down alot and I would over do it and start bleeding really heavy again. I was hard for me to sit still. I think I wouldn't have bled so long if i would have taken it easy like I was suppose to.

    I bled for about 2 weeks, but after the first few days the bleeding lightened up but it was still a lot of discharge. Then I had a week of just lochia and then the worst period of my life for 2 weeks.

    IVF with ICSI - Stimming 10/4/12 - 10/13/12, Lupron Trigger
    ER 10/18/12, 12 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 5 fertilized
    5 day transfer 10/23/12, 3 frosties

    I am 8 weeks 1 day post C-section and still bleeding. Very dark blood now so I hope this is it.

    4 weeks now, and still need a pad.

    It was 8 weeks with my first, 7 weeks with my second.

    Curious, what does BF have to do with it?

    About 8 weeks with DD. 
    Lochia stopped around 4 weeks with DS, but I got my period too. I've just now had days without bleeding.

    My PP bleeding lasted about 2 weeks, with light discharge for a week after that.

    By 3 1/2 weeks I was completely done bleeding. I had a vaginal delivery.

    I'd have to say the same.  I also had c/s and I'd hardly call it bleeding after about 3-4 days.  Beyond that it was more like spotting with a watery discharge as well. 
    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    Oh, a few weeks. That said, it was a light-medium flow by the third or fourth day PP. And then it was spotting by the end of the first week until it quit about week 3  or a little before then.

    3 weeks ish?  After that it was kind of a orangish/clear discharge.  I'm 6 weeks pp now and have had nothing really for the last week

    With my DD, I bled about 3 1/2 weeks. 
    I am 1 week pp from having my DS, my bleeding is really light already! weird..

    FTM, blood stopped at 2.5 weeks. Have just been wearing panty liners for the last week for discharge.

    FTM, vaginal delivery, exclusively breast-feeding (nursing at home, pumping at work). I think the significant bleeding was done by about 2 weeks, but lighter, on-and-off bleeding still happened up to probably 2 months, or even a little longer. I am now 4 months pp, and just had my first period about 2 weeks ago (grrr, I thought it would stay away longer, especially since I BF!).

    I had a c-section and the bleeding lasted for 5 weeks though it was pretty light for the last 2 weeks.

    7 weeks this time, but I've got an 18 month old and have been taking care of both kids by myself since week 2, plus we live in a 2nd story apartment and I have to carry both downstairs whenever we go anywhere.

    Vaginal delivery for me and I was bleeding pretty heavily until about 4 1/2 weeks. After that it was just light spotting and could get by with just a pantyliner.

    I'm at 4 weeks and still use a thin pad, although not as heavy. Some days there isn't much and other days there is slightly more, but overall has really lightened up. I had a vaginal delivery.

    What bfing have to do with it? Stopped bleeding in the hospital. Started spotting at 2w pp and that lasted 2w. Had a c/s

    i only bled for about a week after my c-section than at around the 3rd week had these unpredictable gushes of blood flow. the dr. said was normal clearing of stuff from birth.
