Well fuck me

DS hasn't been napping well. He just won't sleep and is a mess in the evenings, and if he does sleep it's after a battle and he's still cranky and then he's awake for forever.

Dh has been saying we should wake him earlier, I've been saying that he's just giving up a nap and he needs to sleep. It's not like he sleeps late... Only till 7:45ish (which is late for a toddler, but not super late).

We've been arguing but not really arguing about it for two weeks now.

I got DS up at quarter to six today. He fúcking napped. Without a fight.

And is super cheerful now.

Damn it. Dh was fúcking right.

I'm more annoyed by this than is reasonable.

@RondackHiker- I would give my left tit to have DD sleep until 7:45! She's up anywhere from 5:30-6am most days.

Don't tell DH he is right just yet. LO might just be exhausted from not napping for so many days. Give it a week and then if he is really right I guess you will have to admit it. sorry

Ugh that sucks.

On a side note, I would rather have no nap than wake my kid up early. I am not a morning person and I always let her sleep when she wants to.

This is me too.

Ditto. My kid is not yet to the toddler atage yet, and his naps are just starting to get somewhat consistent...but ill still take him not napping as well and sleeping in til 8am over waking him early in the morning!
