DH keeps flip-flopping his opinion on more children, but I would love to have at least one more and he seems to be leaning that way. We will not try until LO is at least walking.
Because I'm in nursing school and because I want time to enjoy our Little Bit and spoil her as an only child for a while (and be out of diapers), it'll be at least 3 years until we try to give her a sibling.
We will not be preventing anything. Call me crazy, but this pregnancy took a very long time for a bfp, and we want a big family.
Married DH : 7/7/12; 3 fur babies (2 dogs and 1 cat) DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18 FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!

Didn't take long for us, but same. I'm turning 35 in Nov and I want the pregnancy part done with, so we've decided we want our last one as soon as cycles coming back will allow, mine usually return around 5-6 mos post-partum. It will be #5 for us, and after that DH is getting the V I've done 2 under 2 with #2 and 3, and it was really hard for the first year, but after that it's a LOT easier.
Due with #5 April 22, 2015. It's a girl!!!!!
Yes it was planned, yes we know what causes that, no we are not on public assistance, and yes we will be getting cable after this.
No, you're not crazy. We went through 3 rounds of iui after ttc for almost 3 years naturally and I've been thinking about another LO also. I didn't enjoy being pregnant, but it worries me thinking about how long it took to have this LO. I don't really want 2 in diapers but I also don't want them to be too far apart in age.
Similar story. I think we will stop avoiding at 2 years and maybe at 3 years see the RE again. Hopefully this time it happens naturally since we won't be as obsessed cause we'll have LO to tide us over
TTC since July 2011
HSG normal in May 2012 followed by three unmonitored clomid cycles unsuccessful
Unexplained female infertility (My husband apparently has super sperm)
IUI # 1 Nov 24
BFP Dec 8! EDD Aug 17th, due to Preeclampsia and HELLP, Kylie Penelope was born July 30th!
Right after DS was born I was sure I wanted a 3rd and figured we'd try when he turned one. Now that the reality of having a newborn and a soon to be 3 year old has set in I'm pretty sure we are done having kids.

I used to always say I wanted 3. DH only wanted 2.
My family felt complete after DS2. My dreams of 3 are gone!!! Things feel very "right" now.

I agree! I had one of those moments last night while nursing DS. DD was sitting next to me and everything felt right and complete. I think we were meant to be a family of 4.
I think I'm crazy as I type this but will start trying at the end of next year. We want 2 under 2
Right there with ya! We are thinking of starting when DS is 9-10 months, mostly because I'm hoping for a late winter/spring baby. I can't do the end of summer 9 months pregnant again!
I also needed Clomid to get pregnant (and IUI). Its a good question as far as whether or not doctors prefer that you try naturally for a year again before seeking fertility treatment (I'm leaning towards no). I don't know what the protocol is, but being that my diagnosis was PCOS (something that is easily seen on an ultrasound), I plan to see my RE and check the status of my PCOS when I am ready to start trying again. It is a good question to ask, though, because that may influence when you would start trying if you have a specific time frame in mind for when you would like your second to be born.
Personally, I don't think I could handle 2 under 2. My SIL went that route and her life just seemed so crazy and chaotic (this is not to criticize anyone who has had their children 2 years or less apart. My SIL is also sort of naturally disorganized and chaotic, but seeing her situation in action makes me wary, especially since idk how much better I would be in that situation). I'm 28, so I feel like I could wait until I am 31 to try for my second. Thats my plan for now anyway, but we shall see how I feel a year down the road...
After 1.5 years TTC, IUI #2= BFP 12/2/12
"And the dream that you dare to dream really do come true"
My health insurance is going to change when I turn 26 so we want to have our 2nd before then because chances are the insurance I have then wont be as good as what I have now and this pregnancy and delivery was covered 100%. So that's 3 years from now so we will probably start trying the end of 2015.
I'm also not having another child until we are married. So he needs to hurry up.
This LO was an unplanned blessing so I'm excited to actually plan and TTGP, if that makes any sense.
Ours are 5,3 and now newborn. Ds1 was an oops, other would have spaced out number 1 and 2 a little bit more. I would live another... Ideally in another three yrs, but my marriage wont survive it
Probably sometime between LO's 1 yr and 18 mo. We'll require IVF and paying $1000/yr to keep our remaining embryos and DH's sperm frozen will start to get expensive after that.
Re: When to start trying...
DS born 9/3/13; DD born 7/22/15; LO due 5/28/18
FS (age 5) and FD (age 2) to become AS/AD very soon!
When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.
