LO is finally getting to the point where he can sit in a shopping cart (5 months today, yay!). Can anyone recommend a shopping cart seat cover they like? I'm not terribly worried about germs--it's just that all that metal is awfully hard and pointy and not very comfortable.

Re: Shopping cart seat covers?
We have this one that we got as a gift. It is really plush and I actually used it this weekend and he loved it so much. We also have an Eddie Bauer one from Target that I keep in Dh's car that he likes too. The only thing is although they can sit up (my LO is 6 months and has sat up unassisted since 4 months) when you turn corners if you aren't careful they can fall over sideways. So you have to go really slow while turning or hold onto them. My LO hasn't mastered not falling over yet so i put my purse next to him or a blanket.

Our LO hated his infant seat so we switched to a convertible at about 3-1/2 months so I needed something he could sit in while we shopped. The harness (and my purse) kept him from falling over.
Fold it up??? bahaha I just carry it out and throw it in the car.

Why do you take your diaper bag in? I only take mine if i'm going to be somewhere for a long time otherwise its in the car.
I always take mine in too. Doubles as my purse...
