GTKY: How long was your engagement. About 9 months. We wanted enough time to plan everything but we didn't want to wait too long because DH's grandmother had gotten very sick and we both wanted to make sure she could be at the wedding.

I was traveling a lot for work and gave up my apartment. When I was in town, I "stayed" with him. We got engaged when we had been together 4 1/2 years, and were married 18 months later. We waited until I was ready to graduate from college.

We moved in together after 1 1/2 years in a long distance relationship. He proposed a week after our 5 year anniversary and we got married 7 months later!
Our 2 year wedding anniversary is on Wednesday and traditionally we would take a trip (even if it was just for the weekend) but he's starting a new job tomorrow so we don't even know when his days off will be... I'm a bit frustrated.

We met November 1, 2008 and moved in together late August 2011. We had our 4 year dating anniversary right before our wedding; this year will be our five year of knowing each other anniversary and our first wedding anniversary. ETA - on our first date I told him I was ready to get married and have kids. If he was just wanting a fling then this would be our only date. He was on the same page as me. Our engagement was long because we had just bought a house and didn't want to plan a wedding right away.

Thanks. This is my 2nd cycle on it so we'll see. I'm just getting frustrated I guess. If I don't eat enough before taking my pill (I take 500mg twice a day) I will get a stomach ache. I have to eat a decent sized breakfast and dinner before I take my pill to feel okay. GL and hopefully this cycle isn't a bust for you

CD: 1 -- I think. I marked it as CD1 on my chart but I'm hesitant. Yesterday all I had was light pink spotting that then turned into bright red spotting but not flow by evening. Do you think CD1 is correct for today or should I mark it for yesterday even though I only had spotting all day?

Thoughts/Rants/Questions/Chart Stalks?: Taking DCI for PCOS has made a huge difference for me and after 8 months of being on it without breaks (except occasionally when I forget to take it) I finally had my first 4 week cycle without BC!! It is really exciting except for the fact that my temps were all over the place from moving and traveling so my chart doesn't even show me ovulating (I hope it's wrong) and I timed everything incorrectly. I was still waiting to ovulate and it turns out that I was on my 2ww. I hope this cycle goes better.

I was not the girl who had dreamed of her wedding for years so I had to do it all in a short amount of time.
