(Here is a non-symptom post. lol) It is crazy but I have to share the photo of me at 4weeks then me at 8wks 5d! It makes me happy but people are shocked I have a belly already, especially when it is only my first! Haha.
Maybe:) I have my next OB appt Tuesday! I will have to ask:)) my sister said she showed really early too. I know some women do because not all bodies are the same. Ya know?
I was bloated until about 12 weeks, it looked like a bump but I knew that since the baby was still so small and so far behind the pelvic bone, it was probably bloat. Once that went away, I stayed looking pretty normal, although a bit thicker, until about 2 days ago. I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and just now I'm starting to actually have a small bump.
I don't understand why ppl on the bump are so quick to attack a bump as bloat, who cares what the cause is? My stomach looks like the OP's too. I am 9 weeks and whether its bloat or actual baby I still have a round stomach/"bump" and I didn't before I got my BFP, I'm sure I'll get "flamed" but whatever. I think your "bump" is adorable, OP.

And if you think about it, when your in the 3rd tri, its not ALL baby, part of it is bloat, water weight, etc., but you don't see ppl in third tri saying its not all baby, just saying... but I'll get off my hormonal high horse for now.

I am 10 weeks and "showing" early too. My DOCTOR even said i am showing early bc of having a small frame before i got preg. Even if it is bloat i still love it bc it will turn into the actual baby bump. So congrats!!
@4maddison: 39w4d and you're correct... it isn't all baby. My stomach, which is right below my boobs now puffs out after I eat. But besides that... the belly is all baby. The water retention and "bloat" you speak of is either held throughout the body or nonsense.
I heard of it described this way once, whether the bump is bloat, your little raspberry, your ute or lunch... its is all there for one reason... a baby. So yes you're abdomen is growing outward... but it could be due to many reasons... all of them are due to a little one being in there.
And if you're honestly not bloated anymore you're wonder woman. What's your secret?
I love first tri. OP I'm way far behind you, but all sorts of bloated for various reasons...my bump looks just like yours. Or maybe I'm just fat, well I am.
Not that I care, if you're pregnant and you look pregnant, and you're happy...go with it. If you want to look more pregnant, no one is going to stop you if you want to hit up some maternity stores for some mat shirts.

-My bloatedness went away when I stopped eating lots of sugars and drinking any form of carbonated drinks:) I mean once in awhile I will feel bloated but overall it is has mostly been gone for 2 weeks now!

Haha this is exactly how I feel! Either way I have a bump due to the baby growing inside of me:) it is not like this bump is going down anytime soon so either bloat or "actual baby" it is still a baby bump that will continue to grow and form into a beautiful pregnant woman belly! Also, for the record you didn't sound like an idiot to me, but that is probably because I felt the same way. Lol So really I guess I am an idiot too!

Ok sweetie ::eyeroll:: @ full term, you will be ALL baby, you won't experience any distention in your abdomen after the first tri caused by bloating (constipation, gas, etc.) It all magically disappears once your uterus/baby starts "showing."
Hahahaha, right.... ::smh::

Dear lord, you are going on my post it. Now you can't even remember what part of pregnancy you are talking about. Since it is so hard for you to figure out I will try one more visual comparison.

I have to agree with this. At 13 weeks I am showing. My doctor says because I am under 5 feet tall my uterus is about where it would be at about 5 months on an average size woman.
So as soon as the baby comes out your stomach is flat right since it's ALL baby? Um no, sweetie, nice try though.
Maybe you just gained too much weight....A lot of people are pretty skinny after they have their baby. Your muscles and organs return to their normal location and, unless you gained too much weight, you look pretty normal before too long.
Wait, what? I think you've been watching too much TMZ. Normal women will have a good sized pooch for a while after giving birth. Just look at Kate Middleton. There's nothing of her, but she looked about 6 months along when she left hospital after giving birth. Also, google Hilaria Baldwin after giving birth. She's a yoga instructor, so is very fit and had an obvious belly. Even my mum told me she was surprised after giving birth that it didn't go back down. She was in hospital for 5 days and had to get my dad to bring a maternity gown for her to leave in. I was 6lb 8oz, so a small baby.

OMG this is adorable and precious. You sweet little thing.

The reason why it isn't flat is because your uterus doesn't shrink all the way. Once you have your baby your uterus goes down to your belly button. Then it usually goes down 1 finger a day... that's why you aren't "flat" afterwards. Also your body has to get rid of all the extra bodly fluids (water, blood), so most of the time you swell up more before you excrete the extra fluids.
i had a "bump" this past weekend while on vacay. couldn't wait to display it on the beach in my bikini lol! but i ate so much food while there and now that i'm back home, it's gone :-(
thats how i know for me, it was bloat and i'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and 120 lbs. i can't wait for my real baby bump to come in. congrats OP!

You are dense aren't you? No, my stomach wasn't flat. My skin and uterus were a tad stretched out. Amazing. Nice try though, sweetie.
As of today, 3 weeks postpartum, things are pretty damn close to being back to normal.
Also, this is you.
