Pillow Question

I think DS is ready for a pillow in the crib. What type of pillow do you use? A regular adult pillow or are there toddler specific ones?

Re: Pillow Question

  • Lo has had a pillow for a while now. We have the pillow pets pillows but he has gotten attached to this small digi-camo army pillow of dh's. He won't use anything else. But it's small and lightweight so it does the trick! It's actually about the perfect size for him!

  • I bought this small toddler pillow from target, but it was too small. DS kept falling off of it and never used it.  I ended up getting a regular standard pillow from Walmart and DS LOOOOVES it. Just make sure it is a firm pillow without a lot of stuffing.

  • I gave DS1 a pillow a month or so ago as he uses his blanket as a pillow, it is a thin adult pillow. Unfortunately he still just makes his blanket into a pillow and ignores the actual pillow, I guess it might change in winter, we'll see.

  • We are using a toddler pillow that I got on amazon and Alex loves it. He really likes to lay his head on pillows when he lays down somewhere. Blankets, on the other hand, are not his thing. He hates being covered.

  • We use a firm, smaller pillow for DS. He's obsessed with it and always asks for it at bedtime.
