if I made DD and I matching Minnie Mouse costumes for Halloween? (it's a black top and tutu-like skirt) It's the tutu-type skirt that's holding me up. I would make it long enough for me to be appropriate and wear black leggings underneath. But is 30 too old for tulle? FWIW it wouldn't be for work, just the school party and trick or treat street.

I think it's cute! I would totally wear it out trick or treating!

Maybe not to the school party since I would feel kinda lame if a lot of the other parents weren't dressed up.

I think family costumes are pretty cute, but I don't think there is any way I could convince DH to do it.

its awesome. you will treasure the memory and the pictures. pretty soon they wont want to be seen with us!
also, if you feel uncomfortable in that skirt for some reason, you could make yours out of a different fabric, but still match.
