Playing with tongue/licking lips

I just noticed with in the past few days the baby plays with her tongue/licks her lips. I thought maybe she was showing signs of being hungry. I try to latch her on when she does it and about 50-60% of the time she will latch on. The rest of the time she gets angry and pushes away so I put my boob away. She is breastfeed and a bottle every couple days cause she refuses the breast sometimes.

Is she realizing she has a tongue? I get so confused trying to read her. Anyone else?

Yup same here. She's vocalizing a lot more these last few days too so I think she's just trying to figure that all out. Makes BFing on demand confusing!

B licks everything. It cracks me up, but it doesn't mean he's hungry. He's just being him.

My daughters tongue is always out. She constantly tastes me. In the tub she is licking her hands and on my shoulder she's licking my neck! She's like a lizard!

Yes! Mine too! I thought maybe it was because she was tongue tied and now she is relearning everything, but maybe not since so many others do this too
