We moved into a bed about a month ago and moved his room around too. For the last few weeks that shadows have been scaring him. I don't know if its the moved around bedroom and new shadows or just a typical toddler fear, but I feel bad. He's started calling his room his scary bedroom. Anyone have any tips to help him not be so nervous??
Re: Scary bedroom
Anyway, maybe this is weird but that show has really helped Griffin with random things, esp the little song.
The episode is the one with Prince Wednesday's sleepover. Not sure if you can find it online maybe?
I am dealing with this with my DD as well and I was suggested to get a spray bottle with some lavender essential oil and water in it to spray each night around the room as a "monster spray" to deter anything from coming in and the lavender will help to relax them. It is worth a shot.
We have a Bernstein Bears book called Spooky Shadows that might help out. I always reference it to remind DS not be afraid.

I am also about to try @Ashley188's suggestion, too. I have heard of that before, but we've never tried it.
Another thing that helps is leaving his door open. We used to close it, but he feels more secure if we leave it open.
