I couldn't find my keys yesterday and wound up being an hour late. Turns out my cohort family had planned a surprise baby shower for me! I'm glad I decided to go anyway even though I was late lol
QOTW: Her name is Alaina Bethany. Dh wants to call her Alaina Beth. We didn't go for sibset but DS and I both have biblical first names and DH has a biblical middle name (ds first name) so we gave her a biblical middle name

We are going for an elective ultrasound on Saturday. I am excited to see the baby again and it may sound silly but I need more conformation that she is really a girl.
QOTW: Her first name will be Kathryn. We are still working on a middle name. Her nn will be Katie. I have always wanted a daughter named Katie and thankfully DH is on board with the name.
QOTW: DH refuses to hear name suggestions until we know what we're having but right now I'm liking Eliza Grace for a girl and Miles Bruce for a boy.

Boy, Girl, Team Green, or U/S date? no ultrasound date yet, but hopefully forthcoming after the NT Scan next week. We will find out.
Milestones/ questions/ vents? no to much... I just continue to be cautious with this pregnancy. Not sure why I am not totally feeling it. Maybe after we get a good look at the NT can I will start getting on board... or maybe once we know the gender it will get more real? Maybe I am thinking it is a girl again, while I am really hoping for a boy and trying not to be disappointed? Don't get me wrong I am thrilled to be blessed with this pregnancy and excited, but just ehh.....

Boys name I like Joshua Micheal but am torn because I we have a family member with that first name already and this guy across the street and put a negative spin on it. I also like Braiden, Jonathan, Evan, Ethan.
Girls names i like Madelyn, Lillian, Elizabth, Kiersten Samantha... girls name are harder..

I have an 8w u/s on Monday, which I am nervous and excited for. No idea when the big u/s will be yet. Still thinking maybe Team Green though.
Tomorrow I pass the milestone of my m/c so I'm excited for that. Also, I am soooooo tired. 1st tri fatigue is no joke with two toddlers in the house.
No names yet. I always have an on going list though. DH doesn't like to talk names until half way so it'll be a while yet.

I'm annoyed with myself for wanting the baby to come at a specific time, but it would really help us if s/he would come while DH's dad is here, so that DS has family watching him. He's here 9/18 (evening) to 9/23. EDD is 9/22 so we might have a pretty decent shot at getting our wish but it's still annoying. I also have too much to do both baby-wise and work-wise to want the baby to come before 9/19.

First tri is still kicking my butt. Afternoons and evenings are no fun.
Just going for what we like. I don't want anything too matchy matchy, like mine and my sister's names. The current front runners are Parker for a boy and Celeste for a girl, but I'm not 100% set on those. We're toying with the idea of keeping the name a secret until birth. Last time we told anyone and everyone the name as soon as we found out DS was a boy.

We have been struggling with a name the entire pregnancy. We'd like to avoid a J name. So far we like a bunch, but they all have down sides:
Nicholas (nn Nico, but we have a close friend with this name)
Logan (very popular
Lincoln (have had many people say the sibset is ridiculously presidential)
Malcolm (DH doesn't like the spelling, but I won't spell it some crazy way)
Boden (nn Bo. DH likes Bo, but is not crazy about Boden)
Franklin (neither of us love it)
Roman (ditto Franklin)
