Quick and rapid movements..??

Hello!
I scrolled through to see if there was another discussion similar to this but didn't find one so I will ask! Recently I've felt the baby move very quickly, almost like a shaking vibrating motion. He stills has these regular kicks and punches but every now and then there are these sudden twitches it seems. Anyone else know what it is or experienced this?

    Sometimes when they are fast like that they could be rolling or flipping. Maybe your baby is going to be a gymnast! I was told its actually a good thing to feel a lot of variation in the movements.

    I felt that a lot with my first, but not this one. It is a weird feeling. And I do remember a lot of people asking about it on my old BMB so I guess it's pretty common!

    That can be them rolling, it can also be them flailing their arms or legs. Totally normal.

    I've felt it maybe 2-3 times. Since they are practicing reflexes in the womb, to me it feels like my LO is crying, kind of shaking a little bit. Someone else said it felt like their LO was stretching. When I googled I found only scary things, so don't do that!

    If it starts happening VERY frequently, mention it to your OB.

    FTM and alittle nervous. I'm 22 weeks and was feeling baby every night and during the day religiously. Even wild flutters during day. Now today (starting last night) I haven't felt anything. Even tried alittle chocolate to wake him/her and tried poking my belly alittle. Is this normal? I'm alittle nervous... And by alittle I mean alot!! Any one out there who could reassure me this is ok??

    Have you been more active than usual? Sometimes when you're up running around a lot it lulls the baby to sleep and you feel less movement. If you're very concerned I would make an appointment with your OB for some reassurance.

    It seems as though you meant to start a new thread and posted here by mistake. FWIW, there is a post from someone with the same problem if you scroll down. The responses on there might help you.
