Re: Who else is a Christian mommy-to-be?

  • We go to a nondenominational church. We love Jesus over here :)

  • Definitely a full lifestyle Christian. We attend a Church of God church, but that can mean different things in different regions of the US. So I'd say we're close to a non-denominational/Church of Christ belief system. We believe in the Trinity and the truth of the Bible. We believe it's not about "what's technically right and wrong," but what is Christ-like? That keeps us living better lives than just the bare minimum.
  • Yup, born and raised a Lutheran.

  • I'm saved by the Blood!!
  • My husband and I attend a Wesleyan church.  We also attend a small group currently we're doing a study on how to raise your children like Joseph.

My mom attended church with us (my brother, sister, and I), my dad did not attend.  We only attended until I was about 10 and then we stopped going.  I really want my children to be able to look at us (my husband and I) as good faith role models and to always attend church with them.  That's one goal I've set for myself.

  • Grew up Baptist, was saved young, and both my husband and I regularly attend a Reformed Baptist church where the Word is taught well...
  • We are! We're both Catholic, and like PP mentioned, rather "traditionalist" Catholics; we prefer things like Latin and the priest facing the same direction as the people.
We'll also be giving all our kids "Catholic" names... right now we're looking at Fulton for a boy (yep, that's for Fulton Sheen!) and Cecilia (or some spelling) for a girl.
