  Hannah Grace was my girl name with my 1st pregnancy....but I know too many now that I can't even stomach it.  And one is a good friend...so it's kind of lost it's appeal to me.

  My mom is so opinionated about names, every week she has one she likes the best, and if it's not on our list already — watch out! I try not to let it bug me, she's really just excited, but if she tries to push "Margaret" or "Clancy" on us one more time....!!

  My husband and I decided names almost a year ago.  Eliot Ory for a boy and Emily Grace for a girl.  We talked using Penelope Grace a few years ago so that's an option.  I like Emily though, it's cheerful!!

  We've been discussing names for a couple of years. We made our decisions the day we got our BFP this time.   I like last names for boys and unisex names for girls. We definitely have a list going, but we won't get serious about picking until we know the sex I think.

  Me: 33, DH: 39   Unexplained Infertility

  4 IUIs (chlomid) in 2013 which resulted in DS born in April 2014

  TTC #2 since August 2015

  5 rounds of IUIs (1 chlomid: resistent, 1 femara, 3 gonal f) = all BFN

  ER March 9: 26 eggs retrieved, 19 mature and 17 fertilized, 8 made it to genetic testing, 4 normal!

  FET #1 5/31 = BFN

  FET#2 7/26 = BFP!

  My SO and I picked official names last night. Surprised we agreed so fast! But of course, we agreed when the baby comes out that we still have veto power over those names.

  DH didn't get into helping name last time until we knew boy or girl and then he almost immediately came up with one we both liked. Me, I mull names around like crazy and fall in love with them one week and can't stand them the next week.

  For a girl, though, I've always really wanted to name our baby after my mom. But it's such an unusual name that DH is opposed. We aren't really talking about it too much yet but if it's a girl I'm anticipating an argument.

  We've always talked about names off and on. We agreed on a girls name a while ago and finally got our boys name figured out! Olivia Jane and Jack Nolan. We are huge baseball fans and our last name is Ryan, so we had to wrap Nolan in there somehow

  It took us whole 5 minutes to pick our names. I suggested one for a girl and DH suggested one for a boy and we liked both. So never even looked at a name book or anything lol.

  Being a teacher, it is really hard to come up with a name that isn't associated with a former student. We have agreed on a girl name, Avery Jane. We are not set yet because I really wanted to use Vera( family name. ). Ira is a family name for a boy, but it sounds like such an old man. I'm trying to use it as a middle name. It is important to my husband that we use it.

  Hubby and I hav such different tastes! I love Madeline Kate while he likes Amelia Grace. I like Blake James and he likes Tobias Daniel. I don't hate his names, and he doesn't hate mine so I guess we will work round it!

  A lot of great names! We've had our girl name picked out since we were pregnant with Noah our first boy and that's Alice Catherine. I'm surprised we've agreed so easily on another boy name, Jonas Elliot.

  We're in a fight to the death on boy names and haven't broached the topic of girl names yet (we settled that when we had a girl last time).
  
  I want Sullivan (my maiden name- shocker given my name on here, hu?) but dh thinks it's a mouthful with our 3 syllable last name.
  
  DH wants Calvin (his grandpa), but I think it's too close to Avelin (really- just swap out a letter & it's the same).

  We've had a boy name picked since we first started dating years ago (somehow kid names came up very early on and we realized we both wanted to name a son Jack). I always thought it was cute, but it's a nod to his grandfather, John. We tend to like family names. For a girl, Anna was our first choice for a while (for my grandmother), but we've both started liking Nora better, which is a family name on both sides. Middle names, we're thinking our mothers' maiden names.
