To be honest, we haven't had sex since we conceived (though I have a condition that makes sex very painful, so I'm honestly not planning to have sex again until at least after the baby's born). I have made DH "feel good" a couple times, but have been irrationally concerned about having an orgasm myself, which is super dumb. For being a pretty smart woman, I'm embarrassed that I worry an orgasm could somehow shake the baby loose.

After my appointment tomorrow, I will hopefully feel much more okay about us enjoying one another. I miss *being* with my DH.

Um...if you're not enjoying it, don't do it. DH doesn't expect me to if I don't feel well. I wouldn't expect him to if he didn't feel well. You're not obligated to have sex just because he wants to, and you don't.

Same here, it's his birthday on Tuesday so I wanted to give him a little something. Poor guy though I have the worst cold/allergies so was sniffling and coughing through most of it

I LOVE that this discussion is taking place! This is our first and he told me he thought I would want MORE sex now that I'm pregnant! And no matter how much I try to explain how terrible I feel physically, he still feels like we're missing the emotional connection that our sex life brought us before.

We're on to week 9 and I've been gradually feeling better on and off so that's been good. For me, what's helping is to remember he is going through a lot too! We work together to help each other and keep each other as happy as possible through this tough beginning. I hope everyone feels a little friskier going into the second trimester! Oh I am so glad I'm not the only one. Had sex yesterday morning after finding out I was pregnant. Hubby really hasn't bothered me much about it until yesterday. I didn't enjoy it like I use too I wanted it over ASAP I really just wanted to roll over and go back to sleep! Hopefully second trimester will be better.... Fingers crossed!!!

My poor husband tried to initiate this morning. I told him if he wanted to be thrown up on to please continue. That cooled his jets pretty quickly. I felt so bad for him.

My DH and I haven't had sex since we conceived. He has a fairly low sex drive and an old back/neck injury that no matter what position we try, he's in some form of pain. I haven't had much interest lately since I've been feeling kinda queasy these past few weeks. He likes other forms of intimacy (and has been hinting at it), but I'm gagging at the thought of putting my face near it for now. I'm hoping I get my groove back soon.

Ugghh same here!! I don't know who told my SO that I would turn into a crazy sex machine while pregnant, but whoever did needs to be punched!! We still have sex close to every other day but ugghh I hope it starts feeling good again.

We had a MC 2 days after having sex before concieving this little one, so even if I wanted to go there, DH is too afraid! My sex drive hasnt really changed heaps, so are just sticking to other methods for now, which have actually been much better
