My best friend is getting married October 26th.  She knew I was going to be TTC so there was a possibility of me being pregnant at her wedding.  I just found out I'm pregnant and I'm estimating my due date around May 20th.  I will be about 11 weeks pregnant at the wedding and 8 weeks pregnant at the bachelorette party.  I really don't want to announce or have my pregnancy be guessed at either of these events.  For my own selfish reasons but mainly because I don't want any spotlight taken away from her!  I don't know how to avoid it at the bachelorette party?  Any advice?
*I will be letting the bride know before these events...I can't keep anything from her:)

    ^^WSS. I was 5 months post partum and BFing when my BFF got married. We did a spa day and went out afterwards. I was the DD and drove someone's van so everyone could fit in one vehicle into Boston.

    Thought about that but we are getting a party bus due to the amount of people going.  If people back out I can totally play MOH of the year and be the DD though:)

    My wedding day is Oct. 26th!! And I'll be pg and hiding it from everyone there hopefully (except the wedding party knows) so I understand. DD is a good idea or taking meds or fain illness. The bride may also have some suggestions.

    Just fake drink. Or say you have something going on that you don't want to be hungover for.

    My wedding is Oct 26th too! I've already purchased the dress and hoping that I don't show early but given the fact this is my 3rd child there is a good chance I will be and we are waiting to tell everyone until after the wedding. I have a bachelorette and wedding this weekend so I'm going to pull the DD card, hopefully no one catches on......

    At the bachelorette party you could say you are taking an antibiotic and offer to be the DD then at the wedding you could try to get away with fake drinks...

    Well I was in my BFF wedding scheduled may 31. Surprise bfp and edd may 9 and she understands completely. She knows my history and was genuinely happy for me but I feel bad. We live in separate states and I told her if god willing ill be on a plane 2wks after Irving birth to be a guest. We love each other and as bad as I feel she has made this process so easy. I'll get her a nice gift tho!!!!

    Fake drinking is an option, water with limes, cranberry with limes, anything frozen in "virgin" form (I did daiquiris)

    Saying you're on an antibiotic is also an option. I am the MOH in a wedding without a set date yet, so here's hoping that they don't choose April or May 14. :)
