A cold already?!

Labor Day is over so I guess it's time for cold and flu season to begin. I felt fine this morning but as the day has gone on I've developed post nasal drip, sore throat and congestion. I HATE being sick while pregnant. Ugh. Anyone else ringing out the summer this way?

Unfortunately I have had a stuffed nose accompanied by sneezing since July when I got pregnant! Really hoping I don't get something worse later on.

Me

My head is going to explode, my throat is killing me and the backs of my ears itch supa bad. Lost 6 pounds in two days. I haven't found anything to help either. I hope you get to feeling better soon though

I had it earlier in my pregnancy. It was not fun, but robitussin helped.

Me too...but mine turned into a sinus infection. Just took my first round of antibiotics. I've been miserable for over a week now. My dr said that if you feel like that for a week, antibiotics are worth a look at (if its an infection at least)

I'm dealing with congestion and itchy/scratcy throat. i had a sore throat a couple of days ago, normally I suck it up and deal with it but I'm acting more like my husband when he's sick lol X_X

I hope u all feel better soon!! My congestion continues to get worse as the night goes on...not helping the gagging reflex I've been battling all of 1st tri. Ugh. And I think the runny nose isn't far behind. Gross.

I've had a cold since Saturday. Spent all weekend in bed alternating between sneezing, sleeping, coughing and all the while still being nauseous.

I've been sick for over a week! I picked up something visiting my grandmother at the hospital last weekend and was laid out the entire labor day weekend! Feels like a sinus infection/chest cold.... I've managed to hold off taking any meds, but I've been miserable

I've just tried to sleep it off and hope my lackluster immune system gets it together!

Me too!! It's awful! Nothing seems to help, I thought all I wanted to do was crawl into bed before... But at the end of the work day, this cold is kicking my butt!!

I had a truly horrible cold when I was 5 weeks pregnant. Body aches, severe headache, ridiculous congestion, etc. that lasted at least 2 weeks. On top of pregnancy exhaustion. Hope yours passes quickly!

I just started with the post nasal drip and scratchy throat. I am horrified. I normally Benadryl and Sudafed the crap out of myself and sleep the week away when I have a cold. This is going to be awful.

Ive been sick for 9 days. Stuffy nose, sore throat all around miserable feeling. I look like a troll when im sleeping with a cold. Ughh

I had a horrible cold a couple of weeks ago. DS brought it home. It sucked I just coughed and coughed and couldn't sleep. I was exhausted.

OMG. How are you ladies dealing with this?! The only way I could fall asleep last night wa with a humidifier blowing directly on me. But my little nose hairs collected so much moisture I'd wake up 3 minutes later because my nose was so itchy! And you know how everything seems scarier in the middle of the night? I was so stuffed I started worrying that I wast getting enough oxygen down to baby. Ack!
