TGIF Dinner?

Friday night's always seem to drag at the very end of the day...So, to make it go by faster I decided to make a TGIF dinner post! I'm making homemade stromboli with marinara sauce.

Thanks to an earlier post I had planned to make homemade cream of tomato soup with chicken wraps. I even went to the store at lunch and bought what I needed. Now the thought of both of those is horrible.

I'm going out for Mexican with people from work for my birthday. Part of the reason for an after work celebration was for margaritas, but I'm still trying to figure out how to pull this off. I'm a little nervous

There's nothing worse than a fantastic dinner idea that doesn't sound good by the time dinner comes around. Hopefully, stromboli will taste good tonight, I know for a fact my hubby and son will be happy!

I'm eating cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. It was my special request from my DH since its my bday weekend. I probably won't eat dinner since I'm full from lunch.... But there's always room for cheesecake!

It's my sons second birthday so at his request we are having pizza. He also picked out his cake which was chocolate with pink icing and blue sprinkles. He was so cute at the grocery store thinking about his choices. I can't believe he is two!

It is! Ever since I started making it with mashed potatoes there's no other way to eat it in this house! I use two shanks along with stew beef and it comes out super yummy.

Can you get there before your co-workers? Slip a note to your waitress (I used to have customers do this when I waitressed)?

Can you get there before your co-workers? Slip a note to your waitress (I used to have customers do this when I waitressed)?

Thanks for the idea! I can probably manage to get a note to the waiter, or I considered ordering from the bar before others get there

It was my day off today, and thanks to the seabands my mom got for me, my nausea is actually pretty mild - so of course decided to make chocolate chip cookies, whole wheat garlic bread, spaghetti, and an order of maple brown sugar bacon cupcakes. I think I'm most excited for the garlic bread... I've been craving it like mad!

I have been craving bagels and cream cheese and so I had two bagels with cream cheese. I bought the bagel thins so I don't feel bad eating two. The strawberry cream cheese was yummy! (DH is working tonight which is why dinner is less than normal).

Wendy's!! I need more iron, so it is a chili and baked potato kind of night for me. And Frosty's count as calcium, right? Because I got one of those too.

Apparently, I've been out of the fast food loop for quite awhile as the conversation went like this:

Me:...and a medium Frosty.
Teenage Worker: What flavor?
Me: Excuse me?
Teenage Worker: What flavor Frosty?
Me: Ummm original?
Teenage Worker (exasperated): Vanilla or Chocolate, Ma'am?
Me: Uh chocolate I guess...

And then the punk ass kid starts laughing with his coworkers over my "original" comment. Back off little boy, this b$&@* is pregnant and had a rough day at work. Furthermore, I remember a time when there was only ONE flavor of Frosty: Frosty!!
