Would the baby become a zombie too? Or, since we're, you know, undead and all, would the baby just, like, stay in there? Because I'm thinkin the zombie apocalypse comes and all these babies will be trying to get...out...somehow.

Well since the baby is getting all of your blood and nutrients I would think that it would turn into a zombie too.

I think it would depend on the zombie mutation. Some mutations when you die naturally you don't turn into a zombie in which case uoud be a pregnant zombie with a dead baby inside. In other mutations (and it seems a lot more people are thinking it'll go this way lately) no matter how you die (unless blunt trauma to the head of course) you turn into a zombie in which case you would have a zombie baby inside you trying to get out.

Lori wasn't a zombi, her son made sure he wouldn't! since we are April babies our babies are so tiny that if we turned the baby would probate die, but if it did turn "it" (I hate calling it it, so we'll say he) he would barely have hand nubs or a mouth so he'd stay in there and become just a little chill zombie.

If you get bit with a full term baby I say baby eats his way out. If you get bit before then I think you've got a chill zombie baby inside for your unlife.

She wasn't a zombie when she died, though. She died giving birth then her son (still cant believe this kid) shot her do she wouldn't become one. Then that gross zombie ate her.

If she had died before giving birth then THAT would be a Walking Dead pickle. Since everyone in that show is alive until they die and reanimate, if Lori had died and zombified, would they have been able to get out the baby, still alive?

BTW the WD comics gave a much worse ending to the Lori/baby story.

I think the baby would die and become a zombie, but as they are so little right now and still getting all of their nutrients from us, we would get even worse zombie like cravings and be even harder to get away from than your average zombie.

has lori died and become a zombie, she was far enough in her pregnancy at the time that the baby wouldnt have died. so the baby would still be a baby until someone was able to successfully cut her out... or zombie lori ate her.

Yeah as long as the baby wasn't dead and Lori was pre-zombie the baby would have been fine.
P.s. the comic book Lori and her death was better imo.

There was an awful zombie movie I saw a while back that featured a very pregnant woman who kills herself or something after getting bit and her "friends" cut the baby out and it seems normal but then turns and tries to eat them. Very disturbing.

I don't think the baby would be immune. A virus causes zombies so I base it other viruses. Moms with HIV can have babies who don't have HIV but the babies aren't immune.
