    Do you have a cool accent from living in S. Africa? My DH used to work with a guy from there and he would come home every day saying "he has a strange accent" until he asked where he was from.

    After 14 yrs, it's mellowed a bit, until I get on the phone with home. But yes, I still have an accent.... Not quite English English, not quite Australian English.

    I'm originally from Burlington MA and moved to CT when I was about 5 and then down to florida at about the age of 12...I have to say, I do miss the seasons though, but everything else I love about florida ;)

    I think we are the only two GA girls. I live in Augusta where the masters is held every year.. You don't have to share where abouts you live, but Augusta is in south east GA if your not familiar with it
    Yeah i know augusta never been there but know where it is. I am on the other side of atlanta in dallas but grew up in marietta. Not sure if you ever heard of either.

    I wouldn't say I miss the seasons, but I sure do miss Christmas. I miss the entire holiday feeling (snow, lights, decorations, weather) once its over I'm back to Florida mode...lol. Christmas here to me is just depressing. The only way of getting your Christmas dose is by going to the mall and I don't know about you, but I hate going to the mall during that time of year. Oh wait, what about Halloween? Since I've been living here not one child rang my doorbell for candy :( how depressing is that? At least we can say this Christmas will be the best Christmas yet!!! No gift could top the gift we are all receiving this year :) I can't wait to meet my baby girl :) what day are you due? I'm due on the 29th.

    We have that same issue. None of our friends but two couples (who within the year had their babies) have babies. And the hard part is both couples live in Miami. To do play dates all the way down in Miami is just a bit much so I am glad we found each other :) I was starting to think my little one wasn't gonna have any friends to play with...lol. Have you started looking into pediatricians?     I don't even know where to start :(

    STOP IT! I lived in Massachusetts too. lol. Where in MA? I lived in Dartmouth. I moved down to Florida in 2006 with zero desire to ever return. Who could ever leave this weather for cold winters? lol. 

    I'm originally from Burlington MA and moved to CT when I was about 5 and then down to florida at about the age of 12...I have to say, I do miss the seasons though, but everything else I love about florida ;)

    I wouldn't say I miss the seasons, but I sure do miss Christmas. I miss the entire holiday feeling (snow, lights, decorations, weather) once its over I'm back to Florida mode...lol. Christmas here to me is just depressing. The only way of getting your Christmas dose is by going to the mall and I don't know about you, but I hate going to the mall during that time of year. Oh wait, what about Halloween? Since I've been living here not one child rang my doorbell for candy :( how depressing is that? At least we can say this Christmas will be the best Christmas yet!!! No gift could top the gift we are all receiving this year :) I can't wait to meet my baby girl :) what day are you due? I'm due on the 29th.

    Yeah Halloween doesn't compare down south to how it is up north! I'm expecting my little man on December 14th and will be delivering at Boca west hospital..which hospital will you be at?

    Aww, you're having a little boy :) how exciting! We should totally do a play date :) how funny, you're going north to give birth and I going south...lol. I'm giving birth in South Miami. Have you signed up for any classes?


    Yeah, that's too funny! I haven't signed up for any birthing classes yet and not sure if I'm going to, but we'll see ;) and a play date might definitely be in order! I don't know anyone else that has a baby that lives around me


    We have that same issue. None of our friends but two couples (who within the year had their babies) have babies. And the hard part is both couples live in Miami. To do play dates all the way down in Miami is just a bit much so I am glad we found each other :) I was starting to think my little one wasn't gonna have any friends to play with...lol. Have you started looking into pediatricians? I don't even know where to start :(

    @gapeach83 I lived in marrietta as a child. I was born in augusta but Iived in marrietta, powder springs, and Lawrenceville/Suwannee in my high school years. I still have some good friends that live in Atlanta and I really miss living up there. There is so much more to do! Augusta is decent but we def don't have anything fun ever going on here.
