I am looking at pictures of my kids when they were born, and am thinking to myself how much I enjoyed being pregnant, (even though I have had complications) and how great it is having a new baby, and the milestones to look forward to, and just how great kids are in general. I never thought I would even consider having a toddler and a new baby at the same time, but I am highly considering it. I know I am not done having kids, I don't feel "complete" yet. I am thinking in a year or so- trying to get pregnant again.
Maybe I am just crazy!? Owen is so good, and my other kids were so good. It makes it easy to want to have more of them!
Who else isn't done having kids?
When do you plan on getting pregnant again, or are you just going to let it happen naturally w/out planning?
How many kids, ideally would you like to have?
ETA: For the mom's who are done having kids; is it a feeling of having your family be complete?
Re: When do you plan to get K/U?
We'll probably try for one more, but I'm going to hold off until R is closer to two. M is 23 months older than her brother and this stage is just really hard on me. I know it'll get easier down the road, though.

We will probably start trying again when LO is about 4 so that by the time
I get pregnant, LO will be about to start kindergarten. It's just too expensive to have two in daycare full-time, but one in daycare and one in before/after care is manageable.

Then again, this is just what I think...my husband and I have not discussed when we would another kid whatsoever. We want two kids only though Id consider a third if I could be a SAHM. I couldn't handle 3 kids and working full time!

We would love to have three children (or more if we could afford it) but will just have to see how things go with two. I know DH really hopes we have a son one day because he is the last male in his family to pass down the last name from his grandparents (fairly common name otherwise, but his dad passed away when he was young and all his cousins are female). I think if we have another girl we would most likely keep going :P although, to be clear, he is thrilled to have a little girl and would in no way be disappointed to have another
We'll see how we feel as time continues on but right now I'm more than busy with E and not looking to add another to the mix anytime soon.
I'm very serious about prevention right now. I'm not looking to have another anytime soon, if ever, although I know DH wants at least one more.
If we have more kids, it certainly would not be until DD2 is potty trained and more self sufficient than DD1 is right now. I'm doing ok so far, but a third as close as these two are in age might put me in the nut house.
