  • I dislike these little outfit, put together thingys. Not that i dont like the outfits but that the people that post them dress nothing like this. I seriously think they should actually print out the pic and take it shopping with them. I have one friend that post these all day long, i've never seen her wearing anything close to what she post. It would help her out a GREAT deal!

  • I have a feeling this will be very unpopular, but I believe that just because you're married to a police officer (or have one in your family, etc.) doesn't mean you should get away with breaking the law. If you're caught speeding and you deserve the ticket, then take the ticket. I saw this all the time with the sheriff's daughter in my hometown. She got away with EVERYTHING because of who her daddy was.
    that happens in real lyfe?

  • People that are angry about Charlie Hunnam playing Christan Grey in the movie can suck it. I'll happily pay $8 to see him naked. Although the books sucked majorily so im sure the movie will also. It'll be just NC-17 porn.

Going off the side-eye post from yesterday, I think my UO is that I change K's diaper anywhere ad everywhere. I use the clean dipe underneath so her butt doesn't touch wherever she is laying. I have never thought twice about this and now feel like a sicko. I'm replaying my visit to @Bubbajug in my head and hoping I didn't do anything to gross her out.
Hhahah I don't give a hoot. Just because I walk all the way to the servant's quarters to change Ernie everytime doesn't make me a better diaper changer, or a cleaner one, or wherever you were going with this UO. GOD it's not all about you all the time! GEEZ!

I'm purely angry about it because now I'm going to have to go see the movie. I've never had any desire to read those stupid books and now going to have to see the movie.

It feels as though this is unpopular, but Id don't think it should be: when you're in public, especially waiting rooms (doc office, etc) don't listen to crap on your phone unless you have headphones. I don't need to listen to you're stupid YouTube video, music, or update on some game. If you don't have headphones, read a story or wait until you're not in a room with a bunch of other people.
S/O I have friends that when they come over they sit on the couch and play on their phones. It's infuriating. Why come over to hang out if your just going to play on facebook the whole time? Put down the damn phone, it's so rude!
My SIL and her creepy fiance' do this ALL. THE. DAMN. TIME. Like, the dude will walk away from the family and go sit on the sofa by himself and play games on his phone. So awkward! So rude. If you don't like us, don't come. Or better yet, do us all a favor and don't marry her.

Here's mine, I haven't read 50 Shades of Gray and won't. I also won't see the movie and I'm not even sure what it's about. I also don't know who Charlie Hunnam is either. I obviously need to get out more.
@JennMM: I haven't read it either. I intended to, but have no time and now I feel like I'm too late to catch up on it. I doubt I'll see the movie either and I also have no idea who Charlie Hunnam is!!
The writting is horrid! I got about 4 chapters in the first book and walked away. This is Charlie Hunnam!!! He plays Jax on S.O.A

  • I hate baseball. It's so lame and boring. I'd rather repeatedly poke my own eyeball with a rusty spoon than watch a baseball game. I also have no interest in professional sports at all (other than hockey). I however love college football and basketball.
I'm with you, I like baseball but on TV it's a snoozefest! That's a watch in person sport. Golf should also not be on tv, it's like watching paint dry.

Im all for a good college football saturday and NFL Sunday though!

Haha!  Try to cross the border in to NC and see a movie for less than $9 or $10!  Won't happen.  SC is a country unto itself!

SC is a SHITHOLE and the armpit of the south! Which is probably why everything is cheaper here.

  • We rock the onesie a lot of the time too.   I think it's a better look than her stomach showing because she hikes her shirt up.

  • Well this is going to sound beyond ridiculous and that's why it's a uo but because I think they are babyish hahhaahh. I thought they were perfect for nb, 3,6 and 9 month was pushing it. And personally my child is insane and I can't even imagine how you get your child into a onesie he will not lay or sit for a second. So it's much easier to put shorts and a t on him and I think it looks a lot cuter at this age. I love foot pjs but had to stop wearing them at 9 months for the same reason.

My UO (also clothes related): I don't understand why some people leave their kids fully clothed when they are eating in the privacy of your home.  I've seen so many pictures of kids eating really messy stuff fully clothed.  I just think it's so much easier to strip Henry down to a diaper and then be able to wipe him down after instead of ruining clothes or creating even more wash.  I guess it's understandable if it's freezing out but we just went through the summer months, or throw a bib on.
My kid usually just has on a onesie or just a tshirt and a diaper when were home. Nothing I would want stained. Just lounging clothes

  • In general it's $8 here in Houston, Texas.   The problem is finding a showing that's not 3D, XD, blah blah blah D.   Because then it's $12.

B usually eats in clothes because we walk in the door and he's plopped into the high chair to eat.  If I tried to take the time to undress him, he'd probably eat my hand.  I already have to wash, so one more shirt isn't going to hurt.  Aaaand he won't wear bibs.  He takes every single one off.

Eh...Henry won't wear bibs either...rips them all off.  He also throws HUGE fits if he can't eat immediately upon deciding that he is ready.  Buuutt...it takes like two seconds to take his clothes off.  This is even when he is arching his back, laying on the floor screaming and kicking his legs.  To each her own...I'd rather deal with the fit then ruin clothes.  I don't have the time to wash everything immediately or even pre-soak.  Maybe I'm doing something wrong laundry-wise but he already stains and ruins enough clothes.
Thankfully we have yet to have a stained/ruined shirt, but then again, B doesn't usually let food make it anywhere but his mouth.  Haha.

I shouldn't admit this because @bubbajug will probably never talk to me again but a few weeks ago I took Oliver to Cracker Barrel in footie pajamas! I admit I've judged people in pajama pants or ratty sweats in public but kids in sweat pants...meh. They are comfy and easy to play in.
Cracker Barrel has that magnificent hasbrown casserole stuff... Mmmm.

  • @wheelerrc s/o dressing like a prostitute...how about funerals? I couldn't believe the itty bitty nightclub dresses I saw at the last few funerals I went to. I mean, seriously. Your creepy great uncle thinks you look smokin' hot. WTH?

Guilty of onesies after 1. I admit they look a little goofy, but sometimes he just looks TOO old in regular pants and shirts. We only wear with pants though, never alone. And LO is obsessed with his belly button so it's a way to keep him from digging around all day with his shirt up.

Also guilty of sweatpants in public. Not ratty gross ones, and not ones with writing on the butt. But my nice black VS sweats that cost more than some of my jeans. Yes please! Haha. But really, it's a winter staple.

And a movie ticket here is around $8.50, $10 at the good theater.
