So Excited!!

Hi, my name is Michelle and I got my first BFP on Friday night. Of course I had to go to the store to get more and test again on Saturday morning. And was excited to get another positive! We had been trying for a while and this is our first. Expected due date is May 12!! Anyone else struggling to keep quiet? We plan to share the news soon with our parents and close friends in a few weeks. I know I'm driving my hubby crazy because it's all I can think about right now!

We decided to tell our parents and siblings next weekend, partly since we will be seeing them anyway. And close friends will come sometime in the next few weeks. I know my girlfriends will be suspicious when we go to dinner and I dont order a glass of wine

Glad to hear I'm not the only one waiting 12 weeks. But we are waiting at least that long to tell anyone we dont see on a regular basis. My thought - anyone I tell before 12 weeks I am comfortable talking to if (God forbid) something goes wrong.

My family finds out this weekend ( they live 4 hrs away and we'll be in town) and then my inlays the following weekend. It just worked out that we'll be seeing them both back to back weekends

I'll be 6 weeks by then and it's a bit early to tell friends for me, so were waiting till the end of october

Congrats!

My close girlfriends already know, we'll probably wait a few weeks to tell our parents/siblings (my OB does an u/s around 7 weeks, so we'll probably wait until after that like we did with DD). We'll hold off telling anyone else until 12 weeks. It's so hard to keep it quiet!

Congrats! We've already told a few close friends, but want to wait to tell our families until we tell our 4yr old, and we don't want to do that until we've seen the heartbeat. After we tell them, we won't hide it anymore. We'll do some sort of announcement on Facebook after 2nd tri's over.

Hi everyone! I got my Positive on Friday afternoon as well! If I did this right, Im due May 6th! I'm cautious about saying anything to family/friends until the Dr shows me a confirmed heartbeat so you will be getting all my attention for the next couple weeks!
