Well... Henry Ezra made his appearance today in the back of an ambulance on the SIDE OF THE ROAD!! Never thought that would happen to me lol.
I woke up with mild ctx at 2am, and procrastinated thinking they weren't so bad till 3pm when my water broke all over my floor. Then shit got real. We tried so hard to make it the over an hour drive to the birth center, but a half hour away had to call 911 because I could feel him pushing his way out even though I was trying so hard to squeeze him back in.
2 guys delivered him (far cry from my midwives). One was new and the other had delivered only 2 babies before. The cord was wrapped around Henry's neck and he was really blue, but those guys were great and got it untangled quickly! Scariest shit ever, but luckily it didn't last log and he was out in 4 or 5 pushes!
Henry is healthy and happy, born at 4:38pm, 7lb7oz, 20.5". I feel great considering (had a minor 2nd degree tear, just like with hazel). We are all in the car headed home now and I can't wait to sleep in my own bed.
Re: Too much labor dust!!!
At least you'll have an awesome story to tell him later in life!
Congratulations! He's beautiful!
I m so glad you are both safe. He is precious! Congrats.
I'm glad everyone is happy and healthy. I love your picture of the 2 EMTs with Henry!
