QOTW: Does everyone here have a long weekend coming up for Labor Day? Wasn't sure if we had anyone outside the States on this list. Either way, any fun plans for the weekend? I have to work all weekend including Labor Day. But I did take off the first part of my shift on sat so I can bring my oldest dd to her horse show! Please wish her good luck! She hasn't shown since I got pregnant with Arianna.

That was nice of your friend - it must have been a big relief to get to see your LO bouncing around.

((hugs)) so sorry. Pregnancy is a big transition, so I'm sure that has something to do with all the emotions being brought up. And with talking about the nursery and your daughter showing for the first time since you were pregnant. That's a lot to process all at once.

And good luck to your daughter! Does she do jumping? I have a neighbor with a show pony but she's older so she does more of the pleasure/show horse type stuff (don't know what it's called but she drives the pony from a cart)

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I'm fortunate enough to work at a hospital so I have been able to take weekly sneak peaks just to make sure that little heart is beating and "Gizmo" is growing!

That is so cool that you get to peek whenever you need a little reassurance

I missed a call from my ob's office today and they didn't leave a message. When I called back they didn't know why I was called. They had done blood work and took a urine sample for testing......just hoping everything is ok!

All the happy u/s updates are making me feel so warm and fuzzy.

That's frustrating about the doctor's office, though I would imagine if it's something serious they would have left you a message asking to call back and also known what it was about. Maybe someone dialed your number by mistake?

Yeah... I need to clean too. I've been so bad. I want to hire a cleaning person but I can't even do that because I'm too embarrassed to have someone come in until I do some 'pre-cleaning'

@ellajune2012 I feel the same way about a cleaning person!!! I'm thought about it several times but also DH wants to make sure we hire someone we can trust. I don't blame him there.

I finally heard back from my ob and it was that my blood work was all normal!!! I'm so happy it was normal!!

Edit: forgot to add that my due date is now March 21st!!

I'm here too! Can I be added? I had a m/c in March due to a blighted ovum after almost 14 months of ttc with various interventions. I used misoptotosol, to end it when I was sure that there was no way the baby could develop.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I feel ok. I fell down the stairs this week and dr said if there is no bleeding then everything is fine, but he couldn't find the hb with the doppler, but considering that I was trying not to throw up after lunch today, I think all is well.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I think a bunch of us had NT scans or appointments this week - how did everything go? I had my NT scan on the 23rd and everything looked great. This baby is very relaxed, unlike my son who was always wiggling like crazy.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I'm feeling pretty good right now! Physically I think I'm past the worst of the first tri stuff. Yay! Emotionally I'm feeling great about good test results this week.

Aw, thanks!! We actually went away to a resort on the eastern shore (md) and just relaxed. It was so nice.

Fruit- I think raspberry.

I'm feeling a lot better. I had my first appt. at my regular dr! Everything still looking good. It finally helped me relax and picture this pregnancy going the distance.

I scheduled my NT scan for about 2 weeks from now and my A/S scan is on Halloween!

I haven't had as many PGAL moments lately! Hopefully I am not jinxing myself.

Labor Day plans- I am actually in NYC right now for the US Open! My family all meets up here every year to go. It's so much fun and great to see my brothers and their SO.

She trains for hunter jumper. She is showing only in walk trot right now.

I'm forgetful even when I'm not pregnant, so I'm hoping that is one symptom that doesn't get worse.

Do you teach or are you going to school? I work at a university and every Sept when I see the students back on campus I get all nostalgic about being in school again.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically, I'm starting to feel much better. I've gone from m/s every morning to only a few times a week (fingers crossed). Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I think a bunch of us had NT scans or appointments this week - how did everything go? I go for my 12 week appt on Wednesday and I can't wait! No ultrasound, but the doctor will use the doppler, so hopefully we'll hear baby's heartbeat for the first time!!
Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Oh yeah...as I mentioned above, I have my appointment on Wednesday and I have been going cRaZy waiting for this appointment. The last time I was at the dr.'s was in July-so I'm going nuts over here. The whole month of August was pure torture. I have been running all sorts of crazy scenarios in my head...but at the end of the day, I have a great support system with my family and husband, and they keep assuring me that I'm doing everything I can to have a healthy pregnancy and that's all I can do. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------On a side note, I just want to say how thankful I am that this thread is here...I kept searching for something like this, but I didn't know what pgAL meant, so I never clicked it. We had our loss back in January, at 7 weeks, which as you all know was a completely devastating experience. I'm so thankful for my husband, friends and family for getting me through, and now I'm so thankful for all of you ladies and the support that we have through this thread. Hugs to all!
