My precious brother has Down syndrome and I was curious about the NT scan but then found out that my insurance didn't cover it and so DH and I decided against it. My doctor told me that when she does the ultrasound at 20 weeks she can tell if the baby will have problems with their spine, heart, kidneys, etc. and that babes with Down syndrome usually have fluid at the back of their head and have more of a flat face that is seen with the ultra sound. I was just wondering if anyone else didn't get one and whether or not you wish you had spent the money on it or not?

Same here. I'm not sure that they are offered here. You can do bloodwork to test for abnormalities, and we will do that just to be safe.
