Are you tall? Or at least long waisted?
I have tried the Moby with each of my children and it has never really worked for me. Instead I have used a bjorn (can't find it yet post house move though.) I have tried the Moby twice so far with DD as a last resort when I can't get her to settle by nursing, but she still cries. Admittedly I'm not going on long walks with it so I never get a steady pace, I'm using it when I need to get things done around the house for her brothers. It occurred to me that maybe it doesn't work for my kids because I am short waisted? So their little legs are really scrunched up. Or are all babies' legs scrunched in a Moby?
It just seems like such a waste of money; three kids and I can count on two hands the amount of times I've used it.

Re: If you have and like the Moby...
I personally haven't done this yet since the closest is over an hour away but check and see if there is a baby wearing international chapter near you. Or maybe a boutique type shop with some veteran baby wearers that can give you real life pointers?

I found for me the key was to start way higher than my belly button oft LO was to low.
Also I wear it wIth baby's legs out.
PgAL/PAL welcome, always!
I'll try some of the other wraps in the booklet, I have only used the basic one so far. Thanks, ladies.
