How are you feeling, 9 weekers?

I know we have a daily symptom check post so please don't bust my balls. I just hardly ever see ladies at 9 weeks post. I'm anxious about my symptoms (PgAL). Thanks!

Re: How are you feeling, 9 weekers?

  • I'm really tired still and have been nauseous/ had a lot of food aversions, but I'm not actually throwing up. My breasts are still really sore, and I feel like I'm looking more pregnant (which I know is just bloat right now).

  • I have this idea in my head that I need to nauseaus and barfing all day for this to be real. I haven't barfed once, but have felt queasy since about week 5. It's lightened up though. I'm just ravenously hungry with weird cravings and aversions. My belly is also swollen and kind of showing
  • I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow, and other than exhaustion and crying over random things, I feel wonderful! I've been super lucky and have only had morning sickness once and the nausea is almost gone entirely :-)
  • I feel pretty good. My boobs aren't as sensitive anymore and I have adjusted to their bigger size. I have been lucky and haven't experienced any morning sickness. My fatigue has lightened up. The only down side is that my hormones are raging

  • I vomit every morning and sometimes into early afternoon. I've had minor cramp like aches since Wednesday that have me a little nervous but I hear they are normal. I am really exhausted but wake every morning at 4:30 and it takes me 2 hours to go back to sleep.

Just feeling kind of... Uncomfortable. Tired way earlier than usual still but actually making it through the day. And still SUPER emotional. Feeling super blessed to not have had much morning sickness at all- knock on wood :)
  • Feeling good, but tired. I am one of those disgustingly lucky women who gets no morning sickness whatsoever, so symptom-wise I just am dealing with exhaustion right now. Peeing more, thirstiest, and a definite belly at this point (STM here with a thin pre-preg bod, though... so it's all just popping out in front!)

I'm not sleeping as well... waking earlier, can't get back to sleep, waking up roastingly hot.

I feel hindered already because of my pelvic rest and heavy lifting restrictions, so it's like later pregnancy without the big belly yet :)

You have an SCH right? Me too. Are you extra worried about it or not so much? I feel like there's so little info about it and what I do read is contradictory. Even the two obs I've seen in my practice have given me different perspectives and info. Sigh...
  • I just want to stop puking! That is all.

I'm not worried, but I respect it... does that make sense? I'm doing what I need to do and what I can do, and I'm trying to let go of the rest. And honestly? I'm praying with confidence that God's going to preserve my baby's life and that this hematoma will not pose a threat to either one of us. That, I think, is the most important element for me. I have faith and I don't let the what ifs take over my mind.
Wow! Love this attitude :) I'm trying so hard to be positive but my PgAL brain takes over. I also do better with out of sight, out of mind, but the spotting always freaks me out. I've called my obgyn office twice in two weeks about it and was told its normal both times, which I already knew.

  • I've been fortunate to have no spotting so far (I'm sure I'd be less calm if I had!) but this is my 4th pregnancy attempt at a sibling for my son, and I think I'm just ready to be excited about this one. If we lose this baby, I'll fall hard... HARD... but I'm just ready to be excited, so I'm choosing to trust this will work out :)
  • I'm 9 weeks and haven't had any MS at all. I do have weird food adversions and there were a couple of days during week 7 or 8 where I felt nauseous. That being said I am SUPER tired. I feel bloated all the time and my boobs are sore...and getting huge already. Overall, not bad.

I hear ya! I'm ready to be excited too. I really, really want to be and know I will soon.
Were you told that the SCH increases your chance of a mc? One doctor told me it does by about 1 percent.

  • I'm 9 weeks today. I'm okay so far, after I eat I can't smell any kinda food or ill gag and I've become more tired then normal. Oh yeah I'm always constipated :(
  • Yes, I was told that too. Mine went from 1.6cm to 5.5cm in 2 weeks and they didn't give me any stats, but told me I was at a higher risk of losing the baby.
  • I have cramps. The normal kind for first tri and then today I started having lightening crotch while shopping. Def over did it and need to slowwww down. MS, fatigue, but then awake quite a bit through the night.

  • Oh yes, and emotional. I cried three times today about Syria :(

  • 9 weeks here and I feel like death. Zofran is a godsend. I'm exhausted, I'm anemic, I'm still nauseous, I'm bloated and still super crampy. My hips and pelvis are already uncomfortable (though this is 4 pregnancies for me in less than 4 years). Basically just.. Blah.

  • I'm 9 weeks today also and I've mostly gotten past the morning sickness. My boobs are on and off sensitivity wise and I'm tired allllll the time! I take naps constantly! I'm craving everything to the max and I'm going to the restroom a ton more. And I have occasional stomach pains but that's just gas lol

  • I'm 9w, 5d.. The nausea is still around and seems to really kick in at night. I also seem to wake up every morning at 430am and it's really hard to go back to sleep. I'm praying this phase will fizzle out in the next couple of weeks
  • Pretty nauseous but lucky I'm not throwing up much. Just feel gross all the time and stomach is really puffy. Very exhausted and I get lightheaded easy but overall it's going much better than it did the first time around. My son weaned, my milk apparently went salty.

  • 9 weeks tomorrow and going strong with no morning sickness. Today was my most normal day, until I got home and took a nap. Woke up so hot, sweating, and achy :( hope this isn't the start of Ms.

I had that down to a science until about three days ago! Got myself with the toothbrush this morning which reminded me I am, in fact, pregnant. Hahahha.

I also have the weird one sided "pulling" type cramps... I'm attributing it to round ligament pain... trying to not over think it.

Ugh yea about 2 weeks ago I had a hard time brushing my teeth. The sound of it made me sick, no lie. I threw up in the sink...clogged the drain. That was a lovely day. I can brush my teeth now though and not get sick as long as I don't brush for very long. This morning sickness isn't near as bad as I had with DD so I will take it.

  • I'm 9w 5d today and my symptoms seemed to have lightened up a bit. My boobs are no where near as sore and the nausea is not as bad as it was earlier in the week. I do still feel pretty exhausted and am WAY over-emotional. I was supposed to have dinner with my friend today and she cancelled on me, so I cried for half an hour...slight over-reaction! :)

  • I'm just icky. Continually nauseous although not terribly so. No food sounds good. Super tired. No sore boobs this time which is great since I'm nursing DD still.

  • I haven't had any morning sickness and feel like it isn't real unless I do.  I've had headaches, growing larger breasts, and some mood swings, but that's about it.
  • My ms is starting to go away, thank goodness. I thought I might have been done with it but yesterday I saw it come back full force. So far this morning it's not here! The exhaustion is getting better and still no sore boobs (just nipples)

  • 9w1d. Feeling pretty good, actually. Still nauseous occasionally (usually after I eat, and it's at its peak in the middle of the night, maybe from the prenatals), but totally skipped over vomiting and hoping to stay that way. I am sleeping better (thanks, Snoogle!), so I actually have more energy during the day. Overall, much better than a few weeks ago.

  • I'm exactly 9 weeks as of today. I don't want to jinx it, but it seems my all-day nausea is easing (or I'm just getting better at taking care of it?). Sore breasts and tired all the time (definitely need an afternoon nap and I'm in bed by 9:30pm). Oh, and I burp a ton!
  • 9w2d here. I went off progesterone on Wednesday and started the tiniest bit of spotting yesterday, but am thinking it is normal. Trying to tell my pgAL brain that . . . no ms for me this whole pregnancy, thank goodness. Food aversion to marinara and craving fried pickles and sauerkraut (not together). The worst symptom is the dry mouth that wakes me up at night.
  • 9w1d...
Waves of nausea all day, every day. Absolutely exhausted despite sleeping 10 hours a night (sorry to all the non-FTM's who wish they could do that!) Breasts feel heavy, but look the same so far. One temper tantrum/crying fit that was SO not me, luckily it was not in public!

After hearing the heartbeat & seeing the little olive at my u/s on Wednesday I can bear all of it easier, reminding myself that it's all about the babe!
  • 9 is the magic number! I gad my first m/s free day and it was GLORIOUS!!! I get super tired at 3 pm every day. Dinner is still a bit iffy and my tummy hurts a little through the night. But I really hope I turned a corner!
  • 9w4d... some nausea, lots of exhaustion and heartburn, some mild cramps, and sore nipples. I have to admit, I am starting to feel a little better. It's all worth it, and I am actually glad to have all my symptoms.
  • I'm a 9 weeker too. Nausea is better, but I'm very sensitive to smells. I've never thrown up, but have gotten very close with some smells that make me gag terribly. I am a bit exhausted though. I had my 3rd 12hr shift in a row yesterday I may had more caffeine yesterday. O well I will be a good girl this weekend. Still having some breast tenderness. Not peeing as much at night getting up 5 to 6 times a night was getting old quick!
  • So far I haven't had any actual throwing up just a little nausea here and there. I am really tired all the time though. Trying to keep as active as I can be, considering the curcumstance, has been hard. Yoga seems to give a little bit of an energy boost and yet makes me feel relaxed too.
  • 9 weeks today. I've had morning sickness, after noon sickness, and evening sickness. Taking my vitamins makes it worse, brushing my teeth is awful. My boobs look great, definitely bloated a little bit. Salt cravings like crazy. Major food aversions. A little emotional but surprisingly not ripping my baby daddy's head off yet! Super sleepy and almost always sick when I get up from a nap. Some cramping and a ton of impatience for my first doctors appointment the fifth and first ultrasound the 20th.
Why do my boobs look so good?image
    Then I peed on a stick...image
  • I was just telling my husband today that I feel surprisingly well! I haven't had much nausea, luckily, but have been very tired and my breasts have been extremely sore. Today I feel "normal" - I even managed to clean the house! Hope everyone starts feeling better soon!
