Picking a date.... just for fun!

Ok, this is totally random and I don't know why it was on my brain (along with everything else), but I was thinking about if you could choose the day you went into labor. I know sometimes you can, with a scheduled C-section, but if you could, would you pick a particular day? My due date is 11/14. I think it would be cool to go into labor on 11/12, so then it's 11/12/13 (i'm nutty) I don't want to go into labor on 11/8 as that is my niece's birthday and would feel bad "taking" her day. Oh, and I don't want to be in labor on Halloween. DD loves it and can't wait to go trick or treating, so I don't want to miss that. Any other day, fair game!

I would love to go into labor on the 15th of November. My step sister, who doesn't exactly like me, scheduled family pictures for that night when I was due to have baby Travis on the 20th. So glad I will look good for these pictures....NOT!

Since I'm due so close to Thanksgiving (due 11/26) it would be kind of nice to go that week because I'd have a 4 day weekend from work anyway! That sounds ridiculous now that I've typed it out, but it's true. I just feel like if I can hold out that's more time I get to spend with LO at home after she's here before going back!

I'm due November 4th- I'm just hoping not to have him on Halloween.... He's already 3 lbs 15 oz so who knows if I'll go early or not!

Any day except Halloween which is also my FILs birthday. And we don't always get along so that would just bug me.. Or the 14th of November because that's SILs birthday and she pisses me off so I don't want "oh we should have a double birthday party" every year for my child's life.. DHs birthday is the 11th so he's hoping for that day. I'm due the 8th. So all of those and within a week or 9 days so all possible..

My LO is due 11/25...and I hope she comes ON her due date! My DS was also due on 11/25 but he was born on 11/9. I am hoping this baby isn't 2 weeks early either but if she does decide to come early, I hope she at least waits till after my DS's 2 bday party on the 10th!

I think I mentioned my grandpa passed away in Jan, we got pregnant in Feb, and 11/25 was his birthday, so it would be really special for my family if she was born on that day!

I would like to go on my due date (11/25). Although I wouldn't mind going a few days before. I don't want to be in the hospital over thanksgiving. This is the first year we are spending Thanksgiving with my family and all of my siblings will finally be in town (both of my brother are in the army so it doesn't happen very often.) I also have to take into consideration the Packer schedule. Lol They have a game on the 24th and thanksgiving day.

I'm half hoping for a week before my due date, 11/12, but not because its a cool date! It's my dads birthday and I think that would be special for my LO and him to share the day. He actually even put in a request for her to be born then, I told him I'd let her know

I'm due two days before my moms birthday and since she hasn't been the most supportive person in regards to this pregnancy, I would prefer to not go into labor around her birthday. It would just be another thing for her to be bitter about. I would take a week early but not a week later (too close to Thanksgiving and I enjoy cooking the whole dinner way to much).

I'm due the 18th and working until the 15th. The 16th would be perfect. Although if she came the 1st I'd have more time with her. Either way I have to go back to working on Jan. 6. Just hoping she comes before the 21st or after they 28th so she'll never have a thanksgiving birthday!

I'm an odd ball and love round numbers, I'm glad DD1 was born on September 30th for that reason. I hope DD2 comes on the 5th (would be 38w1d), 10th, 15th or 20th (2 days late).

I also think it would be cool to have an 11/12/13 baby. We had a chance at 10/10/10 with DD1 (due 10/7/10) but she came early. Really though, I just hope I don't go over my due date since I didn't last time.

I would love for her to come either on my due date (11/25) or after Tgiving. MH wants her to arrive after Tgiving b/c work will be in a short lull. She absolutely cannot come on 11/23 (DoctorWho 50th anni special, yes i'm a geek) or Tgiving day. We shall see how happy i am about going late in a month or so =P

I'm due November 9, but I'm hoping for LO to come October 29. I don't want a devil's night or halloween baby and given how big DS was I don't want to go until my due date.

I would like for him to be born in his due date, the 19th. It's DH's late grandmother's birthday and my grandfather's birthday.

Truthfully as long as he is fully cooked and it's not the 13th (our anniversary) I'm good!

DS1 was 4 days overdue.

I would be pretty entertained if my LO came on 11/12/13 as well. My DD birthday is 08/09/10 already. Lol. Doubt it tho. November for my family and DH family is also very busy with birthdays along with the holiday madness. I feel like its a game of minesweeper when I look at it on the calendar. Haha!

I was born on 10/10, my mom was 8/8, and I would really dig if he was born on 11/11 to keep the repeating numbers thing going. Our due date is 11/10, so I would be cool if we were 10/10 and 11/10. Of course, 11/12/13 is awesome too. DH's birthday is Nov 16th so he wants a birthday baby (6 days late, no thanks!!).

I hope our LO comes on her due date (11/29) or earlier so I have more time to settle in to a routine before the busy Christmas season. I want to be able to enjoy it with the baby and not be overdue and all "bah humbug." ;-)

I would love to go into labor on Nov 3 and deliver early in the day in the 4th. Then DH and I can watch the Monday night Packers Bear game w our brand new baby girl. Last time around we choose a due date (2 days after my actual due date) and we were right!!

I am due 11/13 and I just keep saying I don't want to miss Halloween with my other kids. Last year we had a hurricane and the year before a freak snowstorm so my 3 year old never really had Halloween. I also don't want to be coming home on or right before Halloween because I don't want doorbell ringing all day and me being the grump who doesn't answer because it will be too hard to get up and down after my c section. My other kids came at 36 and 37 weeks so if this one can hang on until 38, that puts me at Halloween. I told DH after 9 pm on Halloween is fine but not before.

I'm due 11/1 and I would love it to be a few days early but mostly because I want it as far away from the holidays as possible. I feel bad for my nieces and nephews who have to schedule their birthday parties around holidays. Edit typos

I am due thanksgiving day and while I love my little turkey I hope she comes 11.12.13 bc I love the numbers or 11.13.13! My bday is sept 13th and I'm a Friday the 13th this year and i think it is fun! My first DS was 6 days late and my second DS was 11 days early so I'm not consistent!
I will take healthy any day though!!

I don't want them to come super early on my birthday (9/17). Besides the fact that I want to make it to at least 36 weeks for their well-being, I don't want to share a birthday with them. I was born on my dad's birthday and it sucked sharing as a kid. They already have to share with each other so I don't want them have to share with mom, too.
I think a Halloween birthday would be fun, but I know they won't make it that long.

She is due 11/16 but I want her come just a tad early, I want her far far far from Christmas. My dad wants her to come on his birthday 11/5, which is fine with me. Remember, remember the 5th of November.

My guy is due 11/19 and ideally I would like him to come maybe 11/10ish because it further from the holidays and I think holiday kids get short changed. Also my nephew's birthday is the 17th and I know how much my mom likes to fly out for his birthday and wouldn't want her to feel conflicted about whose birthday to go to.

My due date is 11/10. As much as I would love to go early and see my baby I am hiking he stays put until Friday 11/15 after 6pm. That way my 6 weeks of maternity leave will take me through the holidays!

My due date is 11/21. The furthest I can go due to my csection is 11/7, the day before DSs 2nd bday 11/8. My bday is 11/2. I'm good with anything between the 3rd and 7th.

I'm Due Nov 8.. DH is hoping for a Halloween baby! I just hope not the 1st because it's my little niece's birthday and I know she doesn't want to share her day with her cousin. Other than that I don't care but I would prefer October (just obv not too early!)

My due day is 11/3, I am a teacher so I really want to be able to factor in the holiday breaks so that I can get as much time at home with lo as possible. According to my math that means lo can come no earlier than 10/19. Ideally though I want lo to stay cookin until after halloween...like right after trick or treating would be great!

I would love to go into labor in 11/23! My reasoning is kind of horrible - I'm a huge hunger games fan which comes out 11/22 and I want to see it before lo comes! But once I see it I would love for her to come out with time for mento have her and be out of the hospital before thanksgiving. I'm actually due 11/30 and am trying to mentally prep myself to go late

My twins are due 11/4 but it will be very unlikely ill go that long. My birthday is Halloween so I would love them to share my birthday!!!! But again I don't think ill go that long.
My moms due date with me was 10/18 so that would be cool!
I'm just ready for them to be here already so I would honestly take any day! Lol!
