I've been waiting over a month and wil see my OB in a few days, a bit past 8weeks. Feels like I've been waiting forever! My doc would've seen me earlier because of a past loss but I opted to just have the 8 week appt.

I had an appointment on Monday. We just went over paperwork and had bloodwork done. That was my 8 week appointment. It was just with the nurse not even my Doctor. I don't see the Doctor until 12 1/2 weeks. Seems like a longgg wait to me. I am finding out that it is different with everyone.

6 days, ill be almost 9 weeks, can't wait!!!!!!

P.S. already went to the doc but they didn't do much but check for stds and give me pamphlets. They didn't even confirm pregnancy since hpts are so accurate!

15 days and I will be 8w6d. It's a midwife this time, last time I had an OB. I'm not really sure what to expect but over the phone they only mentioned bloodwork.

In Canada they seem to wait for the 12 week mark to schedule your ob/gyn or mid wife (if u choose that) appointment.

I guess they dont want to waste the time in case of an early MC, which makes sense, unless there are other serious medical issues. They would rather be sure. Yay free healthcare!

2 1/2 weeks. Exactly 9wks and that's only the nurse. I have 4 1/2 weeks til ultrasound/doctor at 11wks!

I went yesterday at exactly 9 weeks, I did have an ultrasound a few weeks ago to confirm how far I was since my periods were irregular so the MD visit was scheduled when I should have been 10 weeks. They did a full physical since it's been more than 1 year, took urine and drew a bunch of blood. I also was able to hear the heart beat.

I guess I am just outside of the norm here in Louisiana. My doctor saw me at 6 weeks 4 days and then will see me again at 10W4D. I had a trans vaginal ultrasound the first appointment and I'm sure I'll have another ultrasound again at the 10 week appointment.

I am not a PGaL or high risk or anything. Well they did tell me I have slight protein in my urine from the first sample b/c I had to do a 24 hour urine collection. I already had to do an early glucose test as well that came back normal.

I have my first appointment next Tuesday when ill be 6w 4 days. I was told I will get a dating ultrasound and then get to meet with the OB nurse.

Im hoping we will get a heartbeat in the u/s but is it too early?

I'm going the midwife route and I won't be seen until 12w. I haven't even called her yet. But I did schedule an US for next week (7w) at the pregnancy center. I'm nervous and excited about that one.

I go 9/6 when I'll be just over 8 wks. Pretty sure it's just paperwork and bloodwork, but I'm hoping to hear the heartbeat as well!

Went in at 5 weeks for blood work and paperwork. Ultrasound next Tuesday at 9 weeks. It was suppose to be an 8 wk u/s but dr is out of town this week

I am 5w3d and have seen the nurse twice and see my doctor for an ultrasound next Tuesday at 6w2d.

Clomid and a prior MMC will get you that though!

I've got 2 weeks (being seen at 10 weeks) left in my wait, will have been waiting 5 all together! Almost over! But no u/s at first appointment. That's not for another 4 weeks.

had my 1st appt on friday...she said i was "at least" 4 weeks at that point. but she only did a urine test, educated me about diet and gave me a book to read. my next one is in 3 weeks,and we will do ultrasound, and she told me i'll be able to hear the heart beat! sounds kinda early for that, but lets c!! am super anxious to have these 3 weeks go by!

I go in at week 10, so it's another 4 weeks for me. Last time, we only had one ultrasound at 20 weeks and that's what I'm anticipating this time too.

My first appt is tomorrow with the MW (9w2d). Last time they were short staffed and I had to wait for a new MW to start before I got in at 15 weeks.

I don't think that is true for all of Canada. I am in BC and I already had my first appointment. It was at about 6 weeks and just to confirm pregnancy and talk about any questions I had plus blood work. I now have a dating u/s on Sept 5th which will put me at just over 9 weeks (If I'm guessing right) and then I go back and see my doctor on Sept 16th to discuss blood work results and the first u/s result and then since he has an u/s machine in his office he said he will be doing another one then.

I go in for paperwork and bloodwork on Sept 9. (I'll be 7 wks) They'll schedule my first appt then, I'm guessing not till the end of September. It seems like such a long time to wait!

I had my confirmation appointment at 6 weeks exactly and they did an ultrasound then. Now I have to wait 8 more days for the real first appointment and I'll be 9 weeks:)

I am 5 weeks and 5 days and just had my first Ultrasound today, but i am considered "high risk" for my previous infertility journey. My infertility specialist said she would release me to a regular OBGYN around 8-10 weeks. We could not see the baby just the sack and yolk as she said have an ultra sound next week hoping to see more. I have read you can see heartbeat around 6 weeks.

My appointment is right around 7 weeks and will mostly be a physical exam and bloodwork. Depending on how that goes, and ultrasound appointment will be 1-2 weeks later.
