When was your first appointment after a positive home test?

I had 3 positive home tests this morning. I called my dr and the first available appointment was Sept 24th. Is it normal to wait a whole month after a positive home test before ever seeing the doctor?

I got the positive test on Aug. 2nd, 2012 and my first appointment was Aug. 21st, 2012.

yes as the doctors don't like to see you until you're at least 8 weeks...main reason is probably because there's nothing to see! lol I found out I was pregnant with my second child 08/15/2013 and my appt is 09/12/13. Totally normal sweets...CONGRATS ON YOUR PREGNANCY!!

with my first, second and third I saw the dr within 6 weeks. With my 4th we didn't go until 12 weeks.

My dr wasn't going to see me until about 9-10 wks but I was having some pains and concerned with an ectopic pregnancy so I got in at 8 wks.

Yes it's normal. I got bfp on 8-28 and my dr appt is not until 9-30. It's going to be a long month!

My doc schedules first visit between 6-8 weeks.

My test was positive Thurs morning & found a dr that would take me that day! They said according to my last cycle, i cant be any more than 1 week pregnant. They are doing the glucose test tmrw and want to see me back in 2 weeks and again in 4 weeks! This seems a little quick compared to everyone else. I'm looking for another dr in lewisville/flower mound/grapevine area...any suggestions?!?
