Ugh, I am on vacation this week so decided to to potty training. No diapers only bare or underwear and I set the timer every 25 minutes to try to go potty.
Monday went great pee and poop on the potty with a few accidents but all was well, happy toddler, happy mommy. We did the pee pee celebration dance, she has a potty hat to wear and had some m&ms.
Yesterday she had an accident on the way to the potty and was trying to get on the potty while going, but still she tried right? then she didn't go on the potty the rest of the day and was giving me a hard time about sitting on the potty.
Today full out rebellion. She got off the potty said she didnt have to go and would try again later and then walked out and peed on the floor. Then a few hours later I said we are going to sit on the potty in 5 minutes ok? ok, Mom, fast forward 5 minutes and she pooped in her underwear. Now it is a full on battle to even get her to sit on the potty, I mean holding her on the seat battle.
Is this normal or a sign she isn't ready? Any words of wisdom before I pull my hair out? I dont think i have it in me to battle with her anymore today.

Re: So effin frustrated with PT
We tried not too long after he turned 2 (I think it was Thanksgiving, like less than 2 weeks after he turned 2) and he just cried and freaked out and was totally scared of sitting on the potty. Not a battle I was willing to fight.
We tried again at 2.5 and it went much better. But we did it with a small potty. About a month or two after we had that down we transitioned to the ring on the toilet and while he fought it for about 30 mins one morning he finally went and has been fine on any kind of toilet since.

We tried PT this past weekend, and it did not go well. DS is comfortable using the potty when prompted and has been doing so for awhile, but never with any regularity. We decided this past weekend was IT and started on Friday.
It got to the point where he was getting angry about having to sit on the potty every 30 minutes. One time, he peed on the potty and then literally 3 minutes later he peed on the floor!
He never indicated that he had to go, and would pee in his undies. He didn't seem to care in the slightest that they were wet. When I told him that he doesn't want to have wet undies, he said, "Why?" ::insert palm to head::
I wasn't expecting any miracles, but it really didn't seem to click with him. I think we're going to give it a break for awhile and try again another time. I'm really finding this to be the biggest challenge so far.

Just go for it. Hazel poops in her pull-up given the opportunity and we were having the exact same problem everyday at naptime, but one day she was complaining about putting on her pull-up for naptime, so I just didn't bother and she hasn't had any naptime accidents. They know if its a diaper or undies.
