Well mine is still fiance. We've only known since Friday that I'm pregnant. To be honest, I was keeping the symptoms to myself last week because I thought I was just PMSing a week late. Now when I say anything about symptom he gives me this weird smirk that is somewhere between "You're so cute right now" and "I think it is all in your head". He swears it is the first one, but how is my nausea, hunger, and exhaustion CUTE? I have to cut him some slack. We're doing this for the first time.

    This is my DH's 1st and he's too scared to do anything! Lol he's waiting for the hormones to kick in. He won't let me lift a finger around the house. He is always staring at me. I know he's excited. I know he means well, but if he coddles me the whole time I might go crazy!

    UGH I wish DH would coddle me. He's a hard ass, even though I've been super nauseous and can hardly eat anything (which of course makes me dizzy and lightheaded). OK yeah, he's super busy, but he complains when I'm too sick to cook or clean, like I normally would. He tells me I'm not 'sick' I'm only 'feeling sick.' When I'm hanging my head in the toilet, it sure doesn't feel like much of a distinction.

    My DH calls me "cute" at the oddest times too. Cracks me up.

    Same. my DH calls me cute when i'm nauseous, feel like death, dead tired, etc. I get annoyed and ask why and he answers "cuz there's a BABY in there." Haha, clearly it's our first.

    Yeah I wish my DH thought I was cute. Maybe it's because this is my 3rd pregnancy (4th? I have a hard time counting my MC since I've already passed it) but I get no sympathy from that man. I mean he doesn't complain that I don't have food ready for him when he gets home but he certainly doesn't give me any special attention for being sick and miserable.

    My DH has zero sympathy. Luckily, the only symptom I've got is exhaustion. This is our 3rd pregnancy, but I don't feel like he thought I was cute or had sympathy during the other two. He's such a hard ass and works through everything (pain, exhaustion, sickness), so I just don't think he gets it!
